+40 and 2 years from +50....the good news is that I'll be the young guy in the class, but the bad news is that I'll be fiddy.

And still "SMOKIN'" and we had a friend who raced into his 60's (RIP "Tractor Bob").

40 plus . although im not real fast my speed is better now then when i was teenager. quit at 20 started again at 34. i ride more then ever and have more fun then when i was a kid! i was a mid pack intermediate in my teens. im 42 now and am able to keep up to the top intermeiates now. ( locally) i know some old guys who were fast pros when they were young and still ride now. most are much slower now. they dont seem to get as much enjoyment as i do. im still improving. i get a little quicker each year. not sure how long that will last. moral of this story. its good to be slow as a kid!
