Great Bikes the KTM Factory Edition but this Exhaust is horrible , looks Like that 450 want to become a Twostroke
For Next years FE i hope KTM will take a real Cone Pipe 😅

Found this dealer in Cali posted one for sale.
MSRP listed of $12,649. Price seems about right for me. About $1000 more than a stock one. Still no actual confirmation via KTM on MSRP though.
Yeah, the triple resonance chamber design is starting to look like a sausage.

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Why did they lower the price $1000? Not complaining just asking.
Can someone explain why "Engine positioned 2.3mm higher in frame" is better?
Might have some thing to with the chain?
What does knock control translate to on the track?
It’s affects the relationship between the swingarm pivot and countershaft sprocket. Raising it takes some anti-squat out of the rear end. The current generation of the chassis has a lot of anti-squat and this takes some of that out.
As we know—knock is detonation. A 4 stroke engine runs most efficiently right on the edge of knock…efficiency equals HP.
Aside from preventing detonation, assuming their knock strategy is to maximize efficiency…to maximize HP.
I couldnt help myself and put my name on one, never had a factory edition before so why not. Dealer told me we won't see them till February here in Oz.
I’ve got a newer KTM 450 FE (while unnecessary for an older vet guy like me) the bike is awesome (looking too). I wish they hadn’t updated the new one because now I am wanting one myself!
No cone valve or traxx shock this year. That added about $1k over a normal FE last year.
For the majority of riders buying an FE that suspension is easier to adjust, cheaper and less often servicing and more locations do it.
The new spring forks are really really good and the so is the shock now.
I'm not personally excited about the stock WP shock or the spring forks. I really like the air forks on my current FE.
But I also dont like cone valves which is why I didnt buy a 26.5. But I do like the traxx shock....
Just got word that the non FE 2028 moto bikes will still have air forks.
I just got a quote on a 2027 fc250 fe and a leftover 2026 fe. After tax I can get the 26 for $1250 less.
I messed up my math. Only $350 less for the 26.

Given the way ktm is talking at eicma I think your source is probably wrong. I also can’t imagine they would update the cc forks from the 2027 version, put them on the fe (including creating shorter Husky versions which won’t ever go on an xc or xcw) and then not put them on the standard models. Multiple media people are saying the cc forks will be on the 2028 standard models.
Based on the last decade of KTM , minus having kit suspension, the FE suspension will mirror the next years suspension. Including valving and spring rate.
I really hope you're right about this. The current chassis requires almost 3 inches of chain slack and when you lug the bike (I ride off road) the chain makes a god awful knocking sound. Never experienced it before on any other bike other than this one. I chased every possible cause on my 2025 ktm 350 factory edition before I eventually gave up and just live with the noise.
Well the manual for the 27fe calls for more chain slack than the 2027 but still a couple of mm less than what you need to run.
I think both the KTM and Husky factory edition bikes look sexy as fuck. Glad to see KTM re-structuring has them in a good place. Great for the industry.
Word on the street is the 27.5 250 is making over 50 hp.......
Lord.
The entire chain slack thing is extremely confusing for me. People saying you need to run more chain slack up to 70mm+ but the manual on my 26 FE states 58-61mm. The tolerance is tighter than my 24 Yz450f and only 1mm greater.
Also shame to not see the pro suspension on it. Aside from all the vet memes, heavier guys benefit from the components we put a lot of stress on suspension compared to dudes less than 200 pounds. I'm sitting at 240 or so currently hoping to get to 220.
Space up the rear of the chain slider on top of the swingarm. Cured it on my '16. Just went out and measured, it's about 3/8" thick. I used a piece of inner tube folded over about 6 layers, and a longer bolt that goes through it all. Intended on making something more permanent, but haven't yet.
I'm on the allocation list for one now, not sure what that actually means but? Whether that means I will actually get one or not who knows.
Sadly the internet hates everything. Unless it has an army of chinese BOTS paid to love it.
Real people hate everything. Even the two coolest bikes you can actually buy.....
I love the AER 48 air forks...I currently have 3 bikes with them and I really don't understand all the hate. I also have 3 bikes with KYB, including a 2025 YZ450F, and I have come to prefer the air forks for racing. KYB are more plush overall and seem to deal with small bump chatter slightly better, but going race pace, I like the big hit compliance and bottoming resistance of the air forks. Get them valved for you and install the SKF glide kit, and they're excellent. I find that the glide kit really improves the small bump compliance and makes them significantly more plush feeling. With all that said, I have to admit that I don't really like baby-sitting the forks and monitoring air pressure all the time.
If you notice, its never the fast guys complaining about air forks lol
I quite like the air though. I enjoy them getting stiffer as the day progresses because I get faster anyway. Track gets rough and I get faster. I want more hold up
