Mathes claims he’s out of kawi. Does that mean a new ride for A1? As much as we all think he’s a basket case, and he is, he is still leaps and bounds more of a draw than any other “free agents” currently. His next contract he’s gonna have to bet on himself, incentive and win based I would think.
I could see quad lock ditching Craig and savatgy, and dean for that matter and going all in on Chase if he’s willing to go there
They signed a rider that hasn’t been announced yet, mid tier guy. Coming off another team. Probably his last ride before retirement. So I don’t see him going there. Guess he really wants to go to Star.

KTM budgeted for Tomac in 2027 at least in SX. I could see them using some of that money to pay Chase to ride for Tedder or even back on factory KTM. I imagine they would take him back at a discount compared to 24-25. We know Chase is competitive on the orange bike. Star with Deegan seems like a bad idea.
Chase wasn’t even on speaking terms with Ktm by the time left I’m not sure there’s much of a shot left there.
Time heals all wounds though so maybe?

This actually might be the case. Those are the two weirdest outstanding items in this silly season: Sexton and Roczen’s decisions both drawn out, perhaps because they are connected. I feel like Roczen will do a 2007 style Carmichael farewell.
And as far as electric start, I remember hearing that HEP has a solution developed but Kenny elected not to run it due to extra weight or something. This was back when Chiz was their test guy.
I thought Kenny might do that as well but he said before last weeks race he wasn’t interested in a part time schedule.
Sexton to Tedder makes the most sense to me at this point. Can’t see a spot for him on a factory team this year.
I did read this “rumor” in the MegaChina Motor publication blogs.
Maybe wishful thinking with the Chinese moto enthusiasts but it does sound like Kove has the funds to get to the top in whatever endeavor they choose.
It would be interesting to see if this did materialize.
Kove isn’t ready yet but the Chinese seem to be coming with some firepower the last few years.
