I was just hoping Deegs would swing and miss on his takeout attempt.

I was imagining him wrecking Prado where Prado ended up with a broken leg or arm.

Deegs would become public enemy number 1 in the eyes of the Galician Mafia in Spain where they might  put a bullseye on young Dangerboy.   Some countries and fellow civilians can be overly loyal to their decorated athletes.

But, in the end it all worked out for eveyone.

Webb behaved also and out in a great ride.

Yep. Remember AC finishing second in his rookie MX campaign? Not often you see that.

Very good examples on both counts. I started following the sport in 2014, so before my time. My first supercross attendance was Seattle 2014

Danger Boy might win some championships down the road but he will for sure etch his name into the history books as being the sorest loser ever. Vindictive, spiteful and very condescending with absolutely no integrity.
Heck of talent but a screw or two loose  in his ECU.

Was this pic of him after Webb hog ties him in the trailer or after the last race?

Deegs has improved and in my opinion, he is one of my favorites to win the SX 2027.

I think pretty big doubts tbh, Lawrence * 2, Prado, Davies, Coenen * 2 & whoever else turns up.

He's fast, but is he fast enough to cover being a teammate, who's not a teammate on the track with red mist issues.

Maybe he can manage turning his aggression into more speed and get the most from his team and teammates, maybe he can't. I really think the jury is out.

Prado? He has beaten Prado overall the whole time he’s been on the 450. Finished better in mx and smx so far. So why would Prado be there and not Deegan? He also just beat hunter in smx as well. He has also beaten Davies. So yes hes 100% a top 3 favorite for the sx championship

More speed? He’s consistently top qualifying or top 3 and same for best lap during the race

I'm no fan of Gayden, but I can't deny he put in a stellar ride at Thunder Ridge that bodes well for his future in the 450 class.  The dude is a douche nozzle, but he's wicked fast and only likely to get faster as time progresses.

You guys are funny, he had all moto and couldn’t pass Prado. Yet he’s so much better than him? He had a chance to show his dominance, go 1-1, and came up short. If his goal was to win 450 SMX he should’ve raced 450 SX this year.

Really fun last race of the season to watch. Prado and Danger put on a show in moto 2.

Add Ricky Johnson to the list. He won several races and barely lost the title.

Deegandashian finishing 3rd in the championship, 70 points down, with ZERO wins is not “Historic”. Far from it.

If Daddy Deegandashian had hooked his wagon to Red Bull or Rockstar nobody would care about this. It’s the Monster Energy & Deegandashian paid for marketing machine that fabricates it.

Nothing more

Did I say he’s so much better than him? No. I’m stating facts. He beat Prado overall in mx and smx. And with very minimal time on a 450 compared to prado. What do you not get? If you’re going to say Prado is a championship favorite next year, but Haiden isn’t, how does that make any sense? You’re just a hater straight up and ignoring the actual facts.

Don't know why I'm going to argue with DDS but here goes:

He did pass him.
He didn't NEED to pass him, he needed Jorge to go down.
Kid shot his shot, once, then took the results.

The only thing he could truly control was winning the overall, which he did.

Now pour on the downvotes.

You have a PHD in bedbugology - "beat Prado overall in SMX" you said this dumb shit twice now and we are barely 48 hours out of Jorge being the SMX CHAMPION. As for outdoors this has been covered already, your botox messiah lead 0 laps and won 0 motos, Jorge lead laps and won an overall, actual facts.

Cool, he beat prado in mx. He also did better through the 3 smx races.  Those two things are 100% factual.

So again, WITH limited time on a 450, he did better than prado since he has been on the bike. You don’t think with an entire off-season on the 450 he isn’t a championship contender and prado is?

Your answer to all questions is in your last sentence. Thinking emotionally vs. thinking logically.

No down votes, but here’s something to consider. Danger, had he raced SX on a 450, most likely would have won this nutty 3 race playoff easily considering his 2 overalls and a 4 place finish. Has this be mentioned before ?……I have know Idea.

Deegan doing Deegan things on social media, more at 11

As a parent, if either of my children said and posted the crap young Deegan does on SM or during his interviews, they would never ride again or play sports etc.

This totally falls on Brian. Never in my life have I seen a world class athlete stoop to such a low level and with such consistency.

He’s said some dumb stuff, but this one is whatever. It was in response to prado calling him out saying he has no passion for the sport and only does it for the money. Also said he’s riding like the kids or whatever playing games.

His pass attempt was fine. He needed Prado to go down. Even Ricky and James were saying it needed to be done. Also, to say Deegan isn’t passionate about the sport is far from true. The guy gives it his all 24:7. Prado should be one to talk rolling around a whole season which was both unprofessional and childlike.

Banter is fun. Deegan gave prado props in his post race and the thumbs up. They shook hands after smx 2 as well. You guys care more than the riders do about this dumb stuff. It’s just banter, relax.

Maybe Deegan should go race the MXGP in 2 years.
Just saying.
He is 1/10 of a Villopoto.
The more I age, I become less tolerant of Jack Asses.
