Coming from a Webb and not a Deegan fan, it was light contact. Webb has better racecraft than than and should have shut off the inside knowing he had just passed Deegan over the jump leading into the corner. 

I understand Webb was pissed that it was a teammate and Deegan runs his mouth off, and it wasn't for first place or last lap. 

I think your take overall is probably pretty close…but

I haven’t seen if anyone said this, but then again I haven’t read the 5,684 posts…

Deegan cost himself 4 SMX points by the unnecessary and stupid takeout.  
Kenny would have had a 1-5 finish(vs 1-4), but putting Coop down gave Kenny a 1-4 finish.  Deegan had a 3-3 since he would have gotten by Webb anyway.  It moved Deegan down to 4th overall since Kenny had 5 points vs 6, but would have tied Deegan 3-3 and better finish in second moto is the tie breaker.  With double points he cost himself 4 SMX points.  Then 12 back vs 16 and Prado would have to take 2nd to win the title, vs 3rd in the final race.

Webb’s typical YouTube views are 12-14k….the video he posted yesterday on this is sitting at 126,000..

He’s learning from Deegan…and to think that Kiwi guy had an emotional breakdown over this..All got played.
