I predict an epic spanking or epic crash for Stewart. Wrecker or checkerd! Dungey DNF Reed 2nd or if Bubba does kiss of endo, Reed win. Villo Behind Reed 2nd or 3rd

Considering how well RV rides the outdoors, and how shitty Stewart's bike looked at his national appearance in 2010, I'd say he has a disadvantage this week. Hopefully he was able to do some outdoor testing this week.

Out of the top 5 the only one with outdoor settings for his bike is Dungey.

Just sayin.

RacerX reported that most teams are now running their supercross settings, since the track has changed from a gnarly 1:30 minute national track to a 1:00 minute typical sx track.

Is the Daytona track that much more like an outdoor track that guys would be using outdoor settings? It still looks more like a SX track than an MX track to me.

WHOOPS! MDMCG just posted while I was in the process of doing my post. Question answered!

You really don't think that Dungey's set up from 2010 is outdated by now? I can't really think of a track like daytona besides southwick.

I say we see the O'mara factor and James rides hard but doesn't have "the big one". I might be wrong but I think James is thinking much more long term than he used to and I want to believe that O'show has something to do with it.

RV will be in the lead by the end of the first lap and run away with it. In the one of the next few races Stewart is going crass, DNF, and quit for the rest of the season.

BUT, RC used to tell his team to start with the outdoor settings and work back closer to sx from there...he must have thought that it was closer to outdoor, but agreed, track has changed...

Two things...depending on who you talk to, Daytona has morphed into a more traditional SX. I was talking with Honda's Erik Kehoe last week, and he said they used to do a bit more outdoor testing to prep for it, but have ended up back at their Supercross settings.

Secondly, 1:00 lap times still aren't a typical SX track.

So far when it comes to the 2011 Supercross season, I think everyone should take a clue from Charlie Sheen's playbook and say, "Winning!"

I'm enjoying watching the racing. The attempt to claim high ground by one bandwagon or another week to week? That's weak.

He had better hope RV gets a shit start and then blows his motor up. Otherwise he is gonna have to deal with RV Park all weekend long. One of the two of them is taking it.
