Lord I hope not, I don’t think he’d put that bike in the main. I’ve said it many times before, Masterpool should try and get something going up in Canada in the 450 class. He clearly missed the boat for SX.
Cool on Beta for giving their guys 2 year deals.
Could masterpool even get a ride with a decent support team at this point? I don't see how you could sign him without seeing him prove it for a few rounds of SX first.

Masterpool may be past his prime (injuries) but someone will give him a ride. The question is how often will he actually show up and race? Fun to watch him ride, though.
He has been in SoCal since he got back from surgery grinding pretty hard. Not staying at home where he has a house and free tracks to ride. He's been hammering laps at all the local tracks. So he clearly wants to be seen and when you have his speed someone will notice. We shall see if anything comes of it, but he's def been doing things differently this summer than I've ever seen him do in the past, so maybe it clicks that it's one last time to shit or get off the pot

He can actually ride SX on a 250 fairly well. Dude was solid at SMX the last two years. Pro circuit rushed him as an injury replacement and he rode well in the heat at that race and just had a silly crash where he broke his hand. He would definitely be the best option Beta could get at this point speed wise. But again I get he's been a head case and that's what works against him.
He's just so good outdoors I can't see him taking a SX only thing at Beta. Both him and Benny should be racing outdoors.

Seems like a lot of team personnel movement this year as well. Star having trouble finding mechanics, lot of team managers and "technical directors" moving. If sexton stays at kawasaki I can't imagine how that works unless they also have some management changes. The silence around all of that has been deafening. Turbulent times.
No one wants to work at star bc of the poor pay no benefits etc. And your the practice mechanic too, so you work 7 days a week pretty much
He should stay down til he can at least get a SX or MX title imo (yes I know he won the 250 SMX playoffs last year). Kitchen should earn it too, plus there’s plenty of vets that are retiring in the next 2-3 years.
