Yeah I don't condone either actions. If either action is acceptable why is anyone even entering a race where there is only one winner? Levi is just another career 250 rider at this point.
If he's ever in a situation where its mano a mano for a title vs anyone , I'm taking the other guy.
Would like to see Steve give “Kitch” as much crap as he gave Prado when he “was over it” but that won’t happen as kitchen is one of his guys that he gets to come on the show

I thought the same exact thing. In the live motocross podcast JT stated Kitchen had a bad gate pick for moto2 as one of the reasons, doesn't someone always have a shitty gate pick? Should only the riders with the best gate pick line up? JT spoke as if it is perfectly acceptable.
Can you imagine how bad his start would be with bad pick? It's been a literal train wreck when he has a good pick.
No doubt. How many podiums/wins has he had this year? Kawasaki has a lot of fast kids in the pipeline, Temmerman, Wey, do you think they would blow off a moto over a bad gate pick? What message is Kitchen sending them?

I believe in previous years he was considered to be the next AC; franchise rider in training alongside Prado (now Sexton). The whole situation at Kawi is a train wreck and Marchbanks is the only solid performer so far. Right now I think Levi would be fortunate to be Marchbanks teammate. Seems like a gamble. But Sexton was an average 250MX rider so maybe Kitchen will surprise.

In the 35 years I have seen Mitch's program things have been pretty simple, do not disrespect his equipment (throw it on the ground), and try your best. If Levi was okay physically, this would have been a great opportunity to end the season on a more positive note with the pressure off.
I know i bang on about it, but the level of rider at PC, over the last 10 seasons should have bought them way more titles than they have.
Looking at the results , apart from AC in 2019 they have gone 13 seasons, with 4 guys, with 3 shots per season (4 now) and not won .
That is against a backdrop of Suzuki pulling out, and Honda going to 2 riders in 250.
I suppose a lot of that has to do with the falling number of generational talents , AC , Forkner and Ryder D were all guys that killed it from day 1 as kids, and have delivered 1 championship. I guess Star pulling double the riders, wont help, but other than Deegan, there has been no home grown talent that has made a real impact for almost 10 seasons now.
So these guys keep getting another go at it, and the 450 guys just sit there till they are 35....
Just more pressure on him at the next race now. Instead of questions about the des nations it’s the last race too. A lot of money now in sports entertainment. 5-600k a yr not bad for a kid probably don’t need the championship bonuses.
It’s almost like they need a new model instead of picking a mini rider early than sticking with them u til they turn pro and then dropping them 2 years after when they underperform…maybe take some of that six figure amateur contract money and give it to guys that are trying to race pro??
Why has the PC team had the worst crashes in recent years? Is it something they are creating or does it just so happen all of their riders are chaos magnets?
So Levi will travell all the way to France, they will put the wrong marmalade on his croissant and hell say fuck it, im going home.

It’s not just the Kawi 450 that has issues…
Only riders who steer with the rear have done any good on a green bike.
Tomac, RV,RC, and Stew, and here in Europe Febvre, all ride in a similar way.
Everyone else just hasnt jelled with the bike at all really.
No research on that just my thoughts as i typed it .
Did you notice Marchbanks sits on the middle of the seat when cornering?
If there is an arm injury, it explains what happened at Ironman... But here we are with the cloak and dagger secrecy. Will he be at SMX? If no SMX, I can't see him going to MXoN.
If going into his second moto at the MXoN if his team doesn't have a chance to win, will he sit out that second moto?
The pressure to win, mixed up with multi-million dollar industry, is a lot for a teenager to bear. Some young guys, even hugely talented ones, crack under the pressure. We have all seen Levi display champion-grade talent, but also seen him choke under the pressure of just keeping close in the points. I don't know anybody personally, it's just how it seemed to me.
Levi Kitchen is 25 years old. Turning 26 in February, he would enter his 3rd season on a 450 if he would race the GPs.
It had to be a meltdown in the pits, if it was an injury there would be a press release. Levi's going to regret not sending it that second moto
