These internet "bad asses" living in 1985 with their VHS tapes and American flag Extreme t-shirts are usually the first ones to get butt hurt when they get stuffed in practice by "some young guy who's got no respect." I'll be sure to go extra wide the next time I pass you so you can cry about it later to your buddies, only to turn around and call the pros pussies because "they're not oldschool enough." Take your open class bike(because anything less can't haul your 250lb ass through the sand section) and go blow out the berms on the vet tracks you fucking goons. Deal with it.

Its time for you to put away the VHS tapes and come back to 2011 Kid. Block passing is one thing but cutting straight across the track without turning to block a line is a bit fucked up. Don't you think????

Wipe the sleep out of your eyes ole man and watch the race again and come back with something a little better.
Fans got all butthurt back then just like now. Nothing has changed. Someday you will look back at Atlanta 11 with fond memories.

I was your remark aimed at me?

You really should tone down the rhetoric, it only emphasizes your childish behavior.

If I get stuffed in a corner, blown by, or just plain smoked all it does for me is give me hope thet there are still some young guys that want it bad enough to get off their butts and go after something they truly care about. I wouldn't know you if you walked by me but I can still say with certianly that youhaven't got the means to make me cry much less hurt me. As far as the VHS comment, you ever seen an 8 track tape? The respect issue I have with your type is not on the track but your total lack of respect for anyone that doesn'y look and act like you or is more than 10 years older than you. Lastly I am 250# (how did you know that?) not because I am fat but because I am 6'5" tall and in pretty good for someone in their mid 40's.

There have been so many times in which Reed and Stewart played that same little cat and mouse thing and in which Stewart was celebrating while Reed rode off dejected....and I don't think Reed was going to let that happen again. And I applaud him for it. If only more riders wanted to win as bad as Reed.

And it looked to me like Stewart was the one that T-boned Reed (Stewarts front tire hit reed not the other way around), so all Reed did was force Stewart to make a decision: 1) Let off and give Reed the position. 2) Keep it pinned, ram Reed and hope he doesn't go down but with the high likelyhood that they'll both go down. We know what decision he made and we know the outcome.

Great riders. Great rivalry. Great Racing. I'm not complaining.

Last time I checked, in racing, it was the first one who crossed the finish line was the winner?

Dude..if the future of this world is in the hands of people with your attitude, I feel bad for my kids and grandkids. They are going to end up laughing themselves to death.

Key word here is "future" you fucking C class goon. Obviously the majority here are stuck in the 80's and think plain JT gear with 1 logo on it is making a comeback. Yo, bro, have you heard of a CPU? Shits crazy. Works by magnets or something.

I too await the stories. They'll be right there with r-acers ride report of a factory KX450f so we might be waiting awhile.

I'll wager I've been around longer that you and I watched that show. Saw some some tight aggressive racing but I didn't see any intentional left turns in a right hand corner.

I finally figured it out... Chad is Australian right? They drive on the other side of the road down under don't they? It was an honest mistake!

See, there you go putting words in my mouth but I guess "thats how you roll." I never said I raced pro or was "in the trenches" with those guys but I did ride back then and have followed the sport since the mid 70's and I have seen alot. I also never parked my bike infront of any one, that remark has absolutely nothing to do with this so we'll skip over that one. I have made my fair share of block passes and taken away lines from enough guys, I have also been block passed, had my line taken away and even been taken out before (once my best friend clipped my bars and I ended up in the er with a concussion) but I chose to be there so who is to blame, no one. See when I get on the track I understand some things about the sport from being apart of it for so long, I am taking responsobility for what happens out there, this is a dangerous sport, it is a contact sport, whether my fault or someone else's this ride could be my last due to a crippling injury or even death. I've seen the good and bad in this sport and my point about watching those races is so those who were not there could see where we've come from as a sport. Things like Stewart didn't invent the scrub, do you even know who did?
You can be as big and bad as you want behind your monitor but at the end of the day you are still just you, nothing more and nothing less. I won't change your mind with reason and you surly won't get me to see things your way with petty insults so this, I would say, is an in pass.

Ah man I was just on a silly roll last night and didn't mean to offend. I was definitely being a smart ass. I have been around a long time too (since the 70's) and just got caught up in the whole Bubba/reed fervor. I too have been involved in plenty of racing incidents and traded plenty of plastic over the years. I just thought Chad's move was in poor taste, not something I would do no matter what, not what I call racing.

No harm, no foul. My disdain actually lies in the punks that spew insults to try to "muscle" their point across, I should have seperated that part as to be more clear.

I cant believe anyone would seriously think Reed was intending to take himself and Stewart down. He cut in front of Stewart to 'block' his line... he would have snapped the back round in order to make the turn at the very last minute while assuming Stewart would shut off... which he didn't.

It was a miscalculated and aggressive move made by someone desperately trying to win the race, but was not particularly dangerous or cynical.

Stewart would have attempted the exact same move had the roles been reversed!
Stewart left the door wide open. Reed dove inside and took the line. He gave ample room and notice for Stewart to back off and give way but Stewart chose not to. It looked to me like Stewart realized he'd been done and chose to try and take Reed down with him.

If it had been me in Reed's place (or any 80s SX rider), and it was the last lap of a supercross, I'd have put Stewie out clean off the track so there was no chance of him coming back at me.

Bottom line: if you leave such a gaping opening in a corner you should expect to get stuffed. Reed just didn't do the job properly.

Hey Clotskull (that is one BAD ASS, HARDCORE nickname btw), if you ever make it to the ripe OLD age of 30, don't forget to sell your bike and/or quit riding on the 'regular' tracks. Otherwise, you'd be hypocrite.
