This used to be a great place to come and bench race. On occasion we’d do good things together, even tho we’d never met in person. I’ve met a lot of true Vitards in person at the races over the years, and had some fantastic experiences.

But now it’s turned into a total shit show full of idiots and morans. I’ve lost count of the blocks I’ve put on people. Every thread turns into a minefield of stupidity.

Thanks to so many for your support of Mayson in Sacramento and for the hookups for people you don’t even know. It was fun for a long time and now it isn’t.

Hammer 663s. Out.

I would think if you're going to call people morons you would atleast know how to spell it.

It’s not misspelled, it’s purposely spelled that way from a funny story many generations  ago.

That Moran poster meme became a staple when newbies awould get sideways calling people morons without knowing The feel of the board and became morans themselves

I just completely ignore bs posts. I read here a lot. Probably too much. Ive learned to gloss over morans. No need to leave, just avoid bs. Im still wanting to ride out west again one day and hit washougal. If all the good people bail from here itll suck.

You rock Hammer and we all like you here. This place has become pretty brutal the past year and not at all rewarding like it used to be as a community

Such a pity. Hammer 663 is one of the better dudes on Vital and now the shit-show has driven him away.

@ML needs to consider a cleanup. There are a bunch of dudes who contribute nothing worthy to the threads, instead, they go out of their way to cause shit amongst members.

I've been here since 2008 and this is by far the worst I've seen. The Vital reputation will suffer if this continues in the current direction.

My two cents.

I think it drives us all away at times. Sometimes it’s worse than other times. I stepped away for years and then came back to see the Lawrence revolution. Ironically, the latest craziness about this might make me step away again too.

I've wanted to step away many times before. The only reason I'm still here is that there are some really good dudes here and some are friends.

There are also dudes who post good stuff.

For the most part, I hang our next door in Non- Moto for the peace and quiet....sure, there is the occasional locking of horns but it's way more civil than Moto- Related.

I want no part in the constant fighting and drivel in Moto. It is also disappointing to see great threads being dragged down by the same folk.

This is supposed to be a like-minded community but somewhere something broke.

If you can't scroll past the crap and move on to the next topic then real life must be very tough for you.

Yeah i don't know what the thinking is behind letting a small minority of trolls just go havoc in so many threads. GuyB was too trigger happy and extreme in that sense, but i feel like we've gone too far to the other side.

I do that all the time, scroll past all tbe crap.

The problem is that the Moderators are slipping.

More than half the posts are stupid garbage with loads of personal attacks. That's not the way Vital used to be.

The point I'm trying to make is that it's getting worse and we are losing good dudes because it it.

Ps. ...and I ain't fighting with you Jaun, what you said is about the best thing one can do.

One more thing I want to add is that this Vital Forum is actually a business, companies pay for Advertising here. When you look at Moto-Related, almost every other topic turns into a bitch fight and that can't be good for business.

I’ve only been here a relatively short time in the scheme of things, but I’ve really noticed it’s got much worse over the last year or so.
One other interesting thing; and this isn’t a Euro vs US thing, but the different attitudes in race day threads between MXGP and AMA, is night and day. Maybe it’s because there’s less people in the GP threads, but everyone’s just discussing the racing and not talking so much bullshit. What a pleasure that is, I just wish the time difference wasn’t such a killer for me.

I know you are Boom, I've had that many accounts banned because people don't like what I say sometimes and I'm one of the OG's on here, I donated a good amount to OC Scotty for his van and when you were stick in Africa with COVID and all of that.

People piss and moan and get other people banned.

What we have to remember is it's not the moderators job, you need to be a man and if you don't like it move on.

Nobody moderates what you see and hear and have to deal with in real life, that's up you me and you and all of us.

This is no different to real life if you don't like it move on and go to another topic.

Now of course there is a line just like in real life, breaking the law and shit like that needs to be stamped out but people shouldn't be banned because others don't like what you say.

Just my 2c

This place seems to have become a haven for woke mentality. Bizzare and ass backwards perspectives, meant solely to incite others. I'm still placing the blame squarely on Covid 19.

First of all, I think the 'Downvote' should be removed, some people seem to take it in a negative way and then the thread is off rail... I read a year or two ago some member who said 'the downvote everything because its fun to piss people off'... well that is just something wrong in your head if you spend your time on Vital 'just to piss people off', this would be easily fixed, just remove the thumbs down...

Secondly, much quicker bans, if clearly someone is just here to 'teast and be a bully or piss people off' just ban quickly.

Now, society is very polarized nowadays, but the feeling I get of the US that it's even worse... then poor Deegan gets in the middle of these two polars... you can be of many opinions but it's just ruins it for everyone if every thread becomes a fights between the two parties...just ban again quickly.

...then I understand the old timers, you might get irritated of this new crowd, sometimes they ask really stupid questions, but the thing is, if 'we' want to grow the sport there will be more people who didn't even know what Motocross was 10years ago.

The 'Congrats Haiden Deegan' thread is the perfect example of what has gone wrong with this place.  The absolute hatred toward Deegan on this board is sad.  I find myself getting pulled in just to try and balance it out. I'm not a fan of any particular racer.  I just like to see good racing.  I was rooting for Roczen to win the SX title and was rooting for Hunter to win the MX title.   I was rooting for Deegan to win some motos this year.

I agree this place is in a serious need of a clean up. So many negative asshole people in here. This used to be a fun place to chit chat dirtbikes but recently it’s taken over his hate post and just flat out nonsense. I don’t comment as much as I used to because of it. Mostly just read and ignore the dumb. I’m still going to be here tho. I do really enjoy the bike builds and other topics. Hopefully if we can get a clean up and make this forum more enjoyable again. In the meantime, keep it pinned! 🤛🏻✊🏻

What are you even talking about? You kind of proved their point with your first comment and now you’re making no sense. The great thing about free speech is if someone is saying something you don’t agree with you have the freedom to leave which is the right they’re exercising.

That's a wild take ,the forum is nonstop jett glazing and made up deegan narratives by the same people.

I agree with you on the downvotes. It brings an element of negativity which is entirely unnecessary. Typically, if someone believes something strongly enough to post their thoughts on a forum they are highly unlikely to change their P.O.V because a number of people downvote it. They're more like to come and argue back to make their point hear. again. and again.. Remove that element of negativity, let them voice their opinion whether right or wrong and move the F on...
