The Boys on Moto60 - Their Take on MXdN

Edited Date/Time 1 day ago

Matthes and Zacho were obviously frustrated with the Deegans bullshit about avoiding the MXdN, but Perebijnos didn't hold back at all!

Among other things, he said, "Deegan asking for money is bullshit. It's a bullshit little bitch move." He also said, " they're (Star) covering up for their rider that doesn't want to go," and, "he'll get fucking smoked!"

Steve pointed out that Doucheboy is going to the UK a week later for WSX. He also said that Star never had a problem going to the MXdN without asking for money until the last few years.

Wonder what changed at Star?

Deegs would be lucky to not get lapped by the Euro boys, it's probably best for his brand that he stays home.

Theres a good chance that he never actually goes.  I suppose theres no excuse when it's on u.s. soil, but they now have all the bases covered for excuses in each situation

Well to be fair he could do well in Ernée, but next year in Assen... yeah i can see that being a possibility. It will be like maybe top8 riders finishing on lead lap, rest will be eaten by dutch Shai-Hulud.

Shoutout to Paul P for keeping it real. No hiding behind industry relationships and political fluff. Dude is a gem, we need more like him.

I think Paul has been volunteering his time over the past few years to help Team USA and thus is pretty frustrated.

Regardless,  he didn't hold back in today's show.

Paul is also extremely biased because he's so close to the team.

Kellen said on BMP that in front should pay a purse or the companies that make their money on this sport should pay for it.

That's not the riders or the teams. That's Monster, Yamaha, etc to leverage this to make money.

Also everyone knows in front makes a shit ton. Probably 5m plus in profits from this one weekend alone.

The GP riders show up because it's the promoter of their series. This gives them leverage over the riders in their series showing up. They don't have this for riders who race in the USA.

I think he’d legitimately be fighting for 5th or 6th.

He’s been the 3rd/4th best guy here all summer. I think you’re being a little generous.

Yeah, but when has lost, he has lost to the 2 fastest riders on the planet right now (and occasionally Praod who is no slouch).  And the Lawrences aren't gonna be at Ernee.  So, such as i dislike Deggans shtick and think he is getting bad advice, a top 4 or 5 could absolutely be in the cards if he went.  Too bad we will never know

Random thought/Question...

Average NBA salary is $10-12m per year (google said so). Number of Games in an NBA season is 82 (google also said so)...and I would guess most players aren't able to play in all the games.

So when the Olympics come around and an NBA player declines the offer to represent Team USA, are they hated as well? A POS? It's just 1 event (with weeks of lead time in preparation, travel, etc).

Deegan is a successful grown ass man who has a 10yr (on average) window to max out a career...4 of which are basically complete.

Why the hate if he chooses to be selective with his racing time? What if he donates time/energy/money to foundations/kids/families in need instead? Is he still an overall POS? Or is he just a POS because he doesn't want to race an event that may not mean much to him.

Ever got called into work on a Saturday because "the team needs you" and you decline to protect your peace and use the weekend to do things that make you happy (or rest/relaxation)? How did it feel knowing you had the option of putting yourself first? Probably pretty good with a hint of guilt...but the good outweighed the bad.

Having said all that... I hope Hunter wins by 30 seconds each moto and parties like a rock star.

....incoming fire in 3......2...........1.........

Agreed... I'd see him more like 10-15th, and thats with a weak mxdn field... he's never raced motocross overseas... he's not used to their starting procedures... never had a lap on that track...  and let me pull his favorite excuse "I'm just a lowly rookie".... he'd be smoked by numerous 450s and 250s....  If he had went in his 250 days many newbie issues at mxdn would be behind him...

Then there's the fact a bunch of euros are salivating to tear his ass up... they are extra motivated to beat him because of his btch ass ways...

Prove it deegan….i say 12th because of some 250 guys, along with 450 and open class, getting in front of him and even though a different class the hard riding will mess him up.  Who’s right?  We’ll never know, because deegan’s patriotism and fan appreciation begins when the very large check clears.

nba in specific is more politics bullshit with who gets on the USA team , like how Nike & the powers at be stopped Jaylen brown from being on team USA back in 2024 , the past couple team USA’s just been a popularity contest with who the sponsors like  & not actually on who was playing the best brand of basketball during tht season , if anything the fans outrage is more with the players getting treated like shit by Nike etc…..

Honestly love it when people aren’t afraid to drop their opinion like this. Paul P, Zacho, etc absolutely not holding anything back. Love it.

Why would he get lapped? He’s one of the top 10 fastest guys in the world. He’s not particularly bad on certain soils or in varying weather/track conditions, so I don’t think that would happen.

Because Deegan claims he races for America every weekend and acts like he wants to go every year and then finds a way to get out of it.

You're making all kinds of claims that Deegan himself isn't making.

Much of the hate he's getting is because of the lying. People do not like to be lied to.

When NBA players skip out on the Olympics they don't try to blame it on anyone and everyone else, they don't try to turn it into a negotiation, they don't make their NBA team change their Olympic policy, they don't whine about how much money the IOC or NBC makes....... they just say no. Maybe Deegan should try that?

The hatred people have for HD38 is mind boggling. People are pissed he’s not going, people are mad that Star won’t send bikes (when they’re sending bikes to multiple WSX events), people think he’d get lapped anyway. Get over it people. He got offered wheelbarrows full of money to race WSX and doesn’t want to ride MXON.  The Lawrence’s aren’t going and don’t hear people getting so mad that they can’t sleep at night over it.
