Dude I get it. I think if Jett wins we will see tears again if Jett wins. 3 mx titles puts him in elite company at 22yrs old. No way does he check up. I mean........right?
I just don’t get the feeling that this means as much to him as some seems to think.
Had it been any other rider he raced against there is no way he would be this chill about it. Hunter will fight for this with his life while Jett feels more like ”meh” if it’s there I will take it and if it’s not I’ll just accept it.
I just hope we get to see a full out battle with both riders putting in their best effort and after the second moto we can say who deserved the title.
With the way Jetts last few years have been, he’s learning the next one is never a guarantee. It’s gonna be a battle this weekend.
Q. If points are tied, I assume there is a countback system to determine who gets the title ?

And since it’s just a 1 point gap, if it ended up tied it would likely mean neither of them won the overall and in that case, it would go to Hunter since he has more overalls than Jett this year.

They must also be forgetting the last few laps of the SMX last year when Jett put on the afterburners to get around Eli (was it?) to get that Title from him..

Hate to say this, Hunter deserves so much but I think Jett gets it done with a 1-2, and Hunter an unexpected result the first moto. I hope to see Hunter take a supercross title in the near future though
People eluding to the fact that they think Jett would let his brother win a championship over him is absolutely insane to me. Hunter would never forgive him.

I would definitely bet on Hunter for the championship. I just hope Prado doesn’t screw things up for either of the Honda guys.
Jett is going to let Hunter have it, but he will make it look pretty convincing. Then Hunter will retire after 27.
The talk of Jett letting Hunter win reminds me of one of the early rounds this year JT said Jett will probably just let Hunter pass him and be happy with 2nd. A couple of laps later Jett had gapped the field. He's a racer, the suggestion he would do anything other than race is laughable.
Hoping we get a great all out battle for it both motos and let's get Jorge and Deegan in the mix too
