The fact that any nation changes name of any geographic fixture doesn't mean that whole world recognizes it by that name... for example your gulf of mexico can be called "Gulf of whores with red curly hair" by Cuban decree tomorrow but it is still internationally called Gulf of Mexico, even tho noone really cares about this gulf or naming geographic fixtures in this era of fraudsters really.
