Diesel? Because, I live in GA, and I could not find even premium Gas for $5+ a gallon. I paid $3.60something yesterday for regular.
7.3 powerstroke 😭
Kinda?
Diesel is like 2.60/ litre here. Nuts. Had to order a refill on our tank last week - that kinda hurt.

Taking my Econo.Box ( 2017 hyundai accent ) on long trips ( 36 / 41 mpg )
Sucks and is Dangerous
My wife and I would be in serious trouble if an accident occurred.
But $40. To fill it though
That's why I'm a firm believer in the shitbox lifestyle.
Every 6 or 7 years pick up some unwanted econobox wreck from Copart. Fix it up cheap, salvage title, run it the rest of the way into the ground. The F150 only comes out when it's necessary.
Huh.
Do you travel around giving pruning seminars?
You can use a cargo-net mounted to the grab handles and the bottom of your seat brackets. Pull the net fairly snug/tight to make a truly safe barrier. Notably - make sure the top and bottom spans are pretty snug and adjust the slack out of the vertical aspect of the net, too.
Good Luck!
Thanks for the Tip !
Rose bush was 50% off. Lol
My title has a dink in it too:
Reported milage doesn't match odometer reading, so ya drive it into the ground and then scrap it.
$7 plus for diesel here. Wtf..... Roughly 70 cents a mile to drive my camper, ouch.
Just glad I went with a 2.7. 36 gallon tank. Over 800 miles on the highway. Thanks, TeamGreen.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ouch for a personal vehicle. Totally different but ovr 3,200 .00 a week for fuel at 6.25 per gal , 3,500 mi a week, 6.8 mpg . Rates came back after 5+ yrs of crap. Run Midwest to the se only . Do some weeks of short runs in the ne to kick the #,s up. You can make some money now. The yrs of 50k bankruptcies a week cut the truck #,s down. Even though order #,s r way down, rates r up. Crazy #,s 165k + for fuel in a yr.
Why is diesel so much more expensive than gas? When I had one in the early 2000s, diesel was always about 20¢/gallon less than gas.
Sulfur dioxide has to be removed from it now...lethal injection uses Sulphur dioxide. Thats what I heard from a BP Amoco guy
Last Ukraine co only paid .65 actually.60 + .3& .2 . The 2 or 3 was missing some weeks. Job b4 tge Lithuanian paid .80 tge highest pay in Chicago or anywhere. I found out the Ukraine guy owned the co after 3 weeks. And got busted for identity theft, found that out after 3 months. Horrible loads & I mean Horrible, because of the id theft. I told him 50 a stop & got nothing . He was Super cool but he,d say . Hey Tony who pays .80 cents , I treat you good your gonna be rich. Lol I,d say he’s back Lol & say these stops r not easy ones& no revue to me if I,m in 5 shoe boxes delivering . He started crying about repair cost . I worked on that truck & trl every weekend in the deep snow. Hit it 4/5 times with either to start it, wire to starter & selenoid . After 5 months they burnt me out then keep going. 1 multi stop load of water , I setup in dock area , clutch in to get reverse & the clutch is at the floor. Lol had to add clutch fluid every 2nd day after that. Then the clutch was slipping doing busy stop lt rds. Because he’s so cheap he runs around Chicago tolls , that’s fuckin cheap. I made it to the yard though for rare time off.

Diesel is also taxed more than gasoline.
Also, with more and more diesel vehicles on the road, supply and demand (profiteering if you will) come into play.
And as you stated, more regulations during refining.
The war machine uses a lot of diesel.
Less diesel than gas is produced from each barrel of oil. Also, diesel in the US is typically taxed at a higher rate than gasoline. The tax structure for it is geared towards commercial trucking, not commuter use.
All the while oil companies are doubling there profits. So much winning!
Someone is making a lot of money and it ain't us.
