He's mentioned many times over the years investing in real estate with his championship bonuses, following in his dads footsteps making money on properties...he just hyping this place up so in 5-10 years he can cash out of it after putting 3 or 4 million into it. I think the 10 number is his pie in the sky dream number he hoping to build it up to once it's established and can find a buyer.

Talented, arrogant, simple minded, trashy are great ways to describe the guy. He's had a lot of privilege in life, doesn't at mean he's a good man. Dude needs a serious humbling off the track.

If you watched Raceday live this week, they covered where Deegan said his goal is to take SMX main stream and make sure everyone gets paid like nascar. If that’s the kids goal, everyone should be rooting for him. 

Edit- I should mention I don’t care for Deegan or his antics, think he’s a good rider though.

Great point, I'd agree with you on that. When he gets emotional he reminds me of the kids on Willy Wonka that have to get their own way. His dad made a successful career out of a bad boy persona and I think HD38 is trying to get all the attention in the same way, but you're right that sometimes he's just effin entitled. 

So when he's posting pics with guns, wearing big gold chains, and trash talking I think he's acting like a kid from the hood. When his emotions take over the spoiled entitled brat comes out. I was at that LV SMX and it was a bad vibe from him all night.

He's also likely the best US rider since Tomac. He has skill, I just can't get in board with the antics.
