I get a lot of people overdo it, thank you social media again for that, but a lot of people act like any criticism of Deegan, scathing or not, is strictly unwarranted hate. Many also seem to not understand you can dislike a rider or team without not having a life, or making it your personality.

Correct- the reality is that while Jett and Hunter are still racing Deegan will never win a title. Oh but maybe his new technique and magic bike set up will allow him to close 30sec on the bros. For me, the difference is that JLaw felt authentic. He was really "that guy". Deegan is playing a character and it doesn't hit the same when you see the level work he puts in to attempt to be "that guy". It would be great for the WWF.

Deegs would have won both motos by 30 seconds but the wind blew a boulder into the void between clutch lever and perch in moto 1 while establishing a huge lead right off the bat. Media rep from Star said his speed was so great that first lap that the earth was moving around him. Makes sense now as a boulder ejected from the soil. Boulder was so large that he almost tipped over while it mostly resting on his bars and tank.
Amazingly he finished the first moto and more so is that he finished top 4.
2nd moto he had a terrible start and worked his way to the front quickly. Both bike and Dees were still feeling the effects of that boulder from moto 1 and backed it down from mach 2 while thinking about points and preventing the side panels from burning up.
Deegs will likely ride out the next 4 motos uncontested unless another bizarre incident happens.
Kid has terrible luck.
Expect for him to go 4-0 in the next 2 weeks.
He doesn’t upset me and “entertainment” is subjective. In my opinion, his style of entertainment is cheap, but I respect the fact that it’s top shelf for you.

People around here seem to think 'hating' on Donger is somehow completely strange and uncalled for. He gets so much heat because he acts like a total twat constantly. And because of him running his yap about being natural competition for the Lawrences, people are having a field day giving him shit. He has not lived up to his own hype. It's as simple as that.

Now heres some analysis that makes sense…. Finally someone realises the gravity of what’s taking place every time deegs throws his leg over the mighty YZ450. Wait until Ironman, gravitational pull is at a minimum there so def look for deegs to go 1-1 - stamp it.
I agree that they turn into two sides and it turns into a broken record. Nothing worth using memory space.
I think most including me do not deny the skill. It’s just the attitude, lack of sportsmanship, integrity, honesty and authenticity that turned people away and make them call him out on it now.
Regarding the banter/drama creation:
He is too much of a chicken (and obviously he is not fast enough) to make this into a reed stewart type rivalry and really getting into each others faces. Now that is a true rivalry. Remember James wanted to confront reed at one point but only his bike was there so he kicked it off the stand (iirc). Instead when hayden tried that he got turned away by hammakers mum like a little boy.
Now regarding calling jorge gay. That’s really all that is, would be actually not that of a big deal if he would be that type of personality. I would even think Jorge is a guy that would be up for some banter. Just like hunter and Jett would be. But coming out of Hayden’s mouth it is just artificial.
TLDR: you can’t fake a rivalry or true banter. You need an authentic personality.
