We only went up for 1 day, so nothing crazy....
Show was good.

Mainly went to check our bike out at the Outlaw both.

Still plan on going again next year.

I think Friday and Sunday were industry days. Saturday was pretty good for dealers.

Some manufacturers were bummed, but an equal number that I talked to said that the time with each dealer who did show up was much more productive.

Oh yeah...there are also quite a few videos from Indy up in the video section, and we'll be adding more.

Met this Guy named Steve. Really cool dude who works for VitalMX I believe. Never met him before but really appreciate all that he does for this sport and told him that his website is the first moto site I click on everyday.

Keep up the good work and love the coverage.

Saturday was my busiest day for meeting with dealers. It might have been down this year but it still feels like there is more momentum going into this season.

Oh yeah, I did get an autographed poster signed to my son from none other than Chad Reed. We had a little talk and I'd like to think that I helped him win his first race of the season.

Yeah Friday and Sunday was dead, but Saturday was decent. I think everyone watch the race Sat night so didn't have time to go to any parties.

watched the race at the Transworld party...thanks to Forrest and P-Lo for the hook up...great time with tons of mx friends!
dealer attendance was low.
they absolutely need to schedule the SX and the show in the same weekend to increase traffic for both events!!
then have the expo open to the public on Sunday.

This needs to happen for sure. Would be such a great boost for the show.

I would say dealer attendance was up from last year. Pulling Monday did not seem to make a difference as the last day is always light just it's now on Sunday.

I heard the same weekend as SX with a public day from many people. Sounds like a great weekend!

Thanks!

This was a strange Indy for me this year. I set up the 2 displays and other than talking to some of the reps I was off walking the show. After the show closed at 3 the last day I have everything packed in the car and headed out of town in about 45 min!

It was really strange having everyone in the same expanded area....I kept looking for the side rooms to have someone in it.

You should have said hi when you were at the Bel-Ray booth getting the autograph.

I agree the dealer attendance was down but the buzz we had in our booth was amazing. We were busy most of the weekend doing business with our domestic and international distributors.

Big shout out to both Chad Reed and Carey Hart for flying in and doing a 2 hour autograph session on Friday morning. They both got in late Thursday night, signed autographs on Friday and jetted off to prior commitments that afternoon. Chad to the SX in San Diego and Carey to Daytona for the 500.

They really know how to keep a sponsor and their fans happy.

Moto Hose displays in the Western Power Sports Booth.

The WPS booth was crowded most of the time.

Risk Racing had a Moto Hose equipped CRF on display.

A sponsored GNCC riders bike was on display at the Mid America XC Racing booth.

The NEW TM's are really trick!

So you would be the guy to talk to about getting that catch can that was on the motor at the WPS display?

same as everyone else, Friday and Sunday were slow, more "industry days" like GuyB said, and those are needed anyway. We were pretty busy all weekend long with meetings and Saturday with dealers. Overall quite a good show.

The Cycle World party at Rock Bottom Breweries was awesome, they step it up this year, it was packed with people watching the race until 1:30 am. Won my bets on top 3 that night Smile Good on Reed!

DD, I agree that bringing in the SX would add traffic, but I don't think Indy has enough hotels for that.

The best would be to move it but it's sketchy, it has to be an easy destination for the Euros/Aussies/Fast-East crews to fly in.

Lumpy, after meeting with my WPS rep on Sat. I hung around awhile and even checked back in a couple times hoping to meet you and you were MIA. Maybe next year. Your displays looked good though.

Unfortunately there is an underlying pissing contest dating back many years that will not allow the SX and trade show to be held the same weekend.

I was just up the street at the Indiana State Fairgrounds attending a Goose Calling Contest, part of the Outdoor Trade Show. Does this count as Indy Trade Show Weekend?
