I tried to put this up while I was in Lommel, but poor internet service didn't allow it until I got back to NL.

For KTM and Husqvarna geeks - True factory bikes with some truly exotic parts.

I also took pics of KTM factory support team bikes from Kosak and Venrooy KTM as a comparison.  The support teams are racing largely stock motorcycles, Venrooy gets motors from KTM factory services, but they are not super exotic past the Special Akro exhausts.

So take a look to see how many differences you spot between your own production bikes and what the factory riders are running...

Sacha has a special ECU  module that the Tech drops in to the air box - he just pushed it in and it locked into place. Or it may be a telemetry device?

I see lot of special stuff on the 450 motor here

is this the 2028 motor?

All of the factory 250 and 450 for both KTM teams are running this shock.

Believe adamo is on the new chassis spec for 28. Also wonder if that linkage setup is for the sand only?

KTM really needs to get rid of the integrated start button and go back to the old style on the production bikes. Nihilo sells the old school buttons for Austrian bikes to replace the OEM junk button.

Mud and sand trick - the cover protects the start hook from sand and mud on the sighting lap, mechanics  pull it off before the gate drop.

More photos of the mystery Electronics package on Sacha's bike. What is the drop in module for?

This front brake caliper is a work of art.

NOT your average Brembo caliper...

Kosak 250.  Mostly production based with parts you can buy. Im told they re not on KTM's factory engine program yet.

Carbon fiber subframe? At least the top portion? Also looks like there is some Ti there too.

Any pics of the head on the 250s? The '28 appears to have a new valvetrain (from pics of Mikula's bike).

Sad way to end the title chase. Lucas was riding an enduro bike around the paddock most of the weekend, not looking too upset.

Sachas module is a extra gyroscope module that Pit Beirer demanded him to use after Southwick.

My buddy Elzinga was hanging in there until the effects of Covid knocked him out of the weekend .   Rick was winning the MX2 overall 2 years ago against DeWolf until his Hutten/ Rinaldi Factory Yamaha blew up 1 lap from the finish...

Grammar Police are on duty today, but I guess English isn't the first language in Lommel...

Awesome... surprised those stands haven't caught on over here.

I feel like teams over here would never let those kinds of photo's out.

That start hook height for Adamo is insane. The fact that it can even pop up while being that low is surprising honestly.

...A few riders went into the second corner with their device still locked down, the large step down ramp after corner 2 seemed to unlock them.

I asked around, some riders like their fork to be very stiff, some preferred softer than normal, I guess it depended on their riding style...

I would have thought they'd use those fancy billet Brembo calipers.

KTM has been using Milwaukee stuff for the past few years - Im sure there are a few members at Vital that appreciate how good these tools are.

Lucas was around the pits all day supporting Sacha.  Most of the time he appeared to be in a good mood...

MX Sports, Take note - MXGP treats their VIP's like this.  Many team personnel depend on the Skybox restaurant for their meals...

Im not a Yamaha guy, but how exotic are the Yamaha factory 250's?  The factory MX2 team will be run by someone else in 2027, as Hutten Metaal has been dismissed after 3 disappointing seasons...

Any word as to who's taking it over.... and what they'll be using for motors?

They forgot to add another sign NO SMOKE BOMBS

I'd be pissed if some ass clown lit one of those off next to me. No only does it take away vision now I gotta deal with breathing in some toxic bs.
