No. Send Herlings over then yes, they could go 1, 2, and 3.

As much as I like Canard and would love to see him out there, that would not be realistic.

Canard in his prime? Yes. Now? Absolutely the hell not.

Trey's an absolute badass on a motorcycle, but he's been retired for nine years, there's no way he could come back and podium.

Just so this thread isn't a total waste, here's Trey and James at Millville in 2013...

Huge Trey fan here... but no. I've heard he still rips, but that could be for a lap or 2. 30+2, race intensity, being older and willing to risk it all, I think those days are gone.

That being said, him trying to qualify so we could watch that style and those scrubs again would be awesome!

Maybe even Vialle? Those Hondas are good, I found it interesting when one of the podcasts mentioned when was the last time a Yamaha won anything in the 450 class, even MXGP?

Trey is a great guy and had a helluva career, but let’s be realistic.  It has been over a decade since he stood on a 450 podium in AMA motocross.

Yamaha won everything USA in 2022 and then was looking awfully good in 23. And ferrandis crushed in 21 also I believe it was.

I don’t remember, did Trey ever actually race the KTM?

Lmao this guy can't be serious? Dungey, an all-timer who sits second in motocross wins behind RC, raced a whole season 4 years ago and couldn't get on the podium once. This question is actually grossly disrespectful to the level these guys are on. No offense to Trey.

Yeah. In 2017 and he retired after that.

Doesn't James ride Hondas these days?

Ferandis isn’t that old, c’mon, Tomac the year after.

Thanks Mav! I remembered he signed with them but I don’t remember seeing him on the track on the big orange. Minor Mandela effect possibly 😄.

Just checked and he didn't race it much. 6 SX and 2 MX rounds. Best results were an 8th in SX and he scored 12th at the two outdoor rounds. Best moto finish was a 10th at Muddy Creek in moto 1.

A couple years but certainly not as bad some dry spells from other brands. Honda went 20 years, Suzuki went 10 years, and Kawasaki is currently on 6 years here in the US.

They could if the track was Southwick,  1)JoJo Keller, 2) Hunta 3) Jettson.

Four championships in the 2020's, same as Honda better than anyone else.

Forgot all about Webb's third championship. Curious if the demoralization of that loss still bugs Sexton.

Should’ve. I like Sexton but that should’ve been a lopsided championship in favor of Chase.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 if they brought Ricky Johnson back.

Hard to get third when you’re laying on the side of the track
