Do you think Windham could have held on to the win?

I don't know how much this has been discussed, but if K-Dub didn't crash; do you think he would've won? He had a solid pace and was holding off Trey and Ryan comfortably. Around lap 15 do you think he would start to make some mistakes? I think if Ryan caught and passed Kdub like how he did to Trey, Kdub wouldn't have put up as much of a fight as Trey did.

I have to be honest here.

No, I don't believe he would have held on to the win. He was an unusually "over the edge" KW when he crashed.

I think you owe me a new remote Kdub!!!

I think he would have had it. He was riding great. He was keeping about the same gap lap after lap.

come to think of it, since the beginning of the season i been telling my riding buddy (new to the sport) that Kdub has the smoothest/mistake free style outta anyone on the track. now how the hell do i win that arguement again after my newbie friend watched Kdub crash twice in 2 races...

screw the new remote.. im now deserving of a signed jersey!!! Tongue Wink Whistling

Good thing he only chocked... if he had choked that could have been dangerous!

On that night, Kevin would have had it. Dungey would have caught and battled with Trey just enough to slow them both down. Plus, its not like they were catching him much anyways.

True that, normally he rides so 100% precise, but it looked like he was dropping the hammer that night, and looked a little less polished than usual. Gotta give him props for going for it!

It was his race to lose and he lost it. He was riding fast enough to win it. I was bummed for him!

No. In fact it's probably a good thing that he crashed when he did because at his advanced age he likely would have had a heart attack around lap 18.

No doubt - he was on it. The track was hard enough to pass on, and I think Dungey would've caught Canard - and they'd slow eachother down trying to prevent passing. KW would cruise to the checkers!

Ahhhh.. what could've been a glorious night for K-Dub... Pinch

No one could touch Kdub that night. He was gone and Trey wasn't gaining.

Same here. I watched that and thought as soon as he lapped Stewart, he had to have been thinking, "No effin way. That was Bubba I just lapped...oooohhhhh chiiiiiit" So bummed for him. San Diego could very realistically be a mudder. Hmmm....
