Jett probably laid it down on purpose to wait on Deegs so he could drop him again. That moto was as straight up as it gets.

Hunter and Jett seem to approach motos different. Hunter seems to gain speed gradually during the moto and looks somewhat cautious relative to Jett and Deegan.
He re-entered the track in exactly the same way as the one he was penalized for. All gas, not looking to see who was coming.
