Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
All top guys earn more then 1 million a year. Even Renaux earns a million a year.
Watching Barcia and Ferrandis over here get good starts, and battle in the top 5-10 the bike is awesome already. Good move for FebVruh!
Dude. Do you think 15-40th place in the USA would ship their bikes across continents and travel to the races? Half full gates is such a low iq inbred metric to base the series success on.
Yeah we have full gates of guys 15+ seconds off the pace in the USA, sick.
There aren’t many “Privateers” in MXGP, most of the additional riders on the gate are local “Pros” of the country hosting the race. Look at the race in Indonesia or China, not hard to see that @Joshracing is correct in his assessment that MXGP is unhealthy at the moment.

I just don’t think that’s as damning as you are making it out to be. We wouldn’t have full gates if the back markers had to cross oceans to get there either.
The top 15 in mx2 and mxgp are plenty deep if not deeper than ours. Mx2 over there is lethal compared to here.
You might be right, the talent is most certainly there, those guys rip. I think what he was saying though is the participation after the elite guys is lacking, that participation, no matter how moderate talent wise, is indicative of the overall health of the series.
And I guess I’m saying it’s nature of the series. We wouldn’t have full gates if they had to travel to other continents. Pretty hard to dispute that isn’t it? People are doing go fund mes here for gas money, and selling feet pictures on only fans to get to the next race here In the USA. They’d never be able to ship bikes and fly to other countries and all the logistics involved with the mxgp series.
In the U.S. you still have to qualify in the top 40.
In MXGP, you just have to pay 1,200 Euros and move one of the black toughblocks out of the other 20 gates.
Pretty hard to argue this.
How else do you think Taco Short scored points in Charlotte? (No shade, Taco)
I can say how much they make because I know some agents and teamowners. But if you don't like to have some inside just say it 🤣
Feet pics 😆😆 good stuff.
Febre isn't 36, he's 34—but still, 2 million in the twilight of his career is a very decent figure.
He's no spring chicken but I'll say there's a fair share of sun left in his twilight, he's the reigning world champion and currently sits 3rd in the standings.
Herlings made 4,5 millions in 2018
Not long ago he bought his 92nd rental with his own money:
Big fan of Feb since he broke in to GP’s. Tough competitor who has had to compete with some of the greatest in GP’s ever. Who knows what could have been aside from injuries and not riding a KTM or Honda (over there the two dominant bikes). I’m sure he will have some good rides on the red machine.
I still cannot believe he leaving KAW for DUC.
Even if we know where Duc is right now..
I get it, if it's true that the offer from Ducati is guaranteed 2 million euros over two years. I would guess that is probably 500k more than what Kawasaki has offered him.
If there's one rider who could make a 'weird' bike work for him in the MXGP paddock, it's gotta be Febvre right?
I mean, even with bend bars he sends it
Got a real source, or just pulled from your thoughts?
Pit Row
I sat next to someone on a bus once, he knew someone that was neighbors with someone who worked at a shop and he knew someone that was a real team manager. True. But, it was NASCAR team manager (cleaner), but that guy, knew someone in motocross, and he said they make: 'oh shit, I forgot'.
It's official: KAWASAKI AND ROMAIN FEBVRE PART WAYS | MXGP
Very interesting observation as he and Pauls are the only guys to seem to be able to do well on a kawi at the moment, typing this I forgot Marchbanks… but wtf then it actually comes down to only 2 guys not being able to find comfort in the Kawi? Prado and Sexton???? The Kawi is fine afterall!??!!
Jonass has definitely struggled on the Kawi
I am officially devastated.
😏
You were saying?

I have a very good source as just proven!
MXGP Factory teams are backed by manufacturers. These manufacturers use the data to make better bikes, develop better settings so some of the cost allocated is also R&D.
Multi Million Euro contracts are not unusual, along with Energy Drink private deals and other things. You think Herlings buys 92 rental properties with no lending on a 30k a year salary? It isnt hearsay, when you actually live in Europe and speak to these guys. I will say that Herlings doesnt earn 4.5 million anymore as a base nobody does, but he is still getting paid in the millions. The amount of people on the gate has zero effect on the pay structure, why would it? They dont get prize money its all funded by private sponsors and manufacturers but some private deals like Herlings personal deal with Monster you will never know how much they are for.
Source: I work in the MX Industry in the UK, i have some dealings with teams such as HRC, Ice One, Factory Husqvarna as well as managing brands into the EU and UK Marketplace. I am not a guy on a bus.
Fu.k money
He got 1st Outright that day, on his way to his first World Championship!
That's how you do it, folks. Never give up.
And that worked for him last year - 10 years later, to become, again, World MXGP Champion.
Good on him if he's getting a Squillion $$$ by going to Ducati - and, taking on a yet another challenge.
Seems people forget that , last year Seewer got at least 1 (or was it 2?) GP podiums. What's changed for him , who knows, but, as is said so often, 'when things end, they tend to end badly'.
I'm a fan of both Ferbvre, and Seewer, and wish them all the best
