By the daily dose of Deegan threads on Vital, the kid is clearly living rent free in many grown mens heads.  Amazing to me nobody stops to ask themselves "do I look like an idiot creating another Deegan thread on Vital?" before they hit little red 'submit' button below.  There's a lot of ya!  🤡

The Deegan haters are far worse than the so called “bed bugs”.  They look like idiots at this point.

As far as Deegan, he’s doing awesome. He’s in his rookie season going up against Hunter Lawerence, who is riding the best he ever has, Jett, who even with an injured foot is one of the best riders in the world. He’s beating a 4x World Champion and the rest of the class in his rookie season. All of them are seasoned 450 riders.

For context, Hunter didn’t win any overalls in his rookie season, was consistently well back from Sexton, and Jett was out injured. Sexton won one overall in his rookie season, but had only so-so results in the rest finishing 5th overall in a somewhat weak class.

Tomac didn’t win a 450 title for 3 seasons, and Jett, well Jett is an exception who went 22-0 in his rookie season, but I don’t think any of them faced the competition Haiden has in their rookie seasons. Yet some are acting like Haiden will never win in the 450 class. If anything Deegan will get better, he’s just taking his lumps now while the keyboard heroes touch tips at the thought of him losing.

He will win pala!!!! Oh but now all his fans say he is doing great….while having 0 wins and 0 laps lead in 14 motos.

He’s getting better for sure. It’s hard to beat the Lawrence’s brothers. One of the craziest things I’ve ever seen in the sport. They race like a peloton and work together and then whoever is better the other one pretty much lays over.

Yes, he was ragged and wicked fast after passing Hunter. Way more on the edge than I usually see. The ongoing narrative with Jett is that he is running at a pace just enough to stay ahead of whoever. But in 2nd Moto Millville he was really on it, bike kicking around, overjumping. Maybe sending a message to himself too - that he can put it to Hunter or anyone at will. Then crashes not pushing it, with a large lead, and gets trapped by the bike. WTH.

I reckon that was an interesting race. As we who know the sport have seen, when in the lead Jett is usually happy to hold a 2 to 3 second lead. However, in this race he was up to 7 seconds. I reckon it shows he's much more wary of Hunter's speed than of any of his other competition, meaning he feels he needs more of a buffer.

He was the only other 450 rider in the 2:00 laptimes at that point and when they said it he was running 2 seconds a lap faster than anyone on the track, hence why they said it.

Maybe you should do the thinking next time.

Staying close to the leaders lap times that have a completely open track while using whatever line he had to use in order to be making passes is a huge achievement.

Deegan already knows that he is going to end the outdoors in 3rd place but come playoff time and the points reshuffle he is still in contention for that championship.

So You dreamed that you can turn the same lap times as the leaders while passing 35 people to the checkered flag? 😂

Why all the downvotes for themx11? He is pretty much correct with what he said. The Lawrence's have even said it themselves.

Deegan is serving his apprenticeship whilst facing two of the best riders of this decade. He will get his win at some point but it's gonna take a little luck.

U clearly didn’t watch live timing he had a faster lap time on last 2 laps maybe last 3 laps……u know when the race was already over for Hunter. The entire moto Hunter and Jett were putting over 2 seconds on him a lap until the very end…..so unless u want to show me an actual fact pipe down

Show the proof then, guess he just went from 20 seconds back to 58 by coincidence. Good luck

You dont think lap times change when the leaders start passing around the lappers? Same thing happens when coming from 40th place to the front.

Deegan had faster laps than Hunter on laps 10, 14, 15, and 17. Haiden had faster laps than Jett on laps 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, and 17.  So on lap 10, while pushing through the pack, Deegan had a faster lap. The remainder of the laps, Deegan was basically running their pace as the broadcast stated. But none of that matters because you’ll just conjecture that Hunter and Jett were just out there for a cruise, enjoying the sites and sounds, right?

It’s interesting to contrast last week where Lucas went from last to 4th, and this week where Deegan went from last to 4th. So I did a little digging.

The comments section in the Bench Racing thread last week looked like this:

“Lucas is in 13th already, wtf”

“Oh my God this guy is hauling”

“Lucas just matched Jett’s pace 3rd lap passing like 10 guys”

“top ten already ?????”

“Herlings 2.0?”

What’s interesting is that if you look at the lap times for Southwick, Lucas had the fourth fastest lap behind Jett, Deegan and Hunter.

Now compare the comments in the Bench Racing thread where Deegan goes from dead last to 4th:

“You ain’t going to be the champion, Doucheboy”

“Deegan is sending  but still losing time to Hunta”

“ unreal would be dead last to the win…#bedbugssodesperate”

“Deegan is a beast and all but I think this race also shows outside three or four guys the field is pretty weak”

“A a lot of those last passes were old men”

To be fair, there were comments also giving Deegan props for his ride, even by those who are not fans of Haiden. But when you look at the negative comments, it shows the disparity and the bias that many of you have when it comes to Haiden Deegan.

And we’re supposed to think that you are looking at this objectively?  This place encapsulates idiocracy when it comes to Haiden Deegan; like a dystopian anti-intellectual habitat for so called moto fans who care neither for facts or fairness.

What's so hard to understand?

He's acts like a total asshole, because he is one.  He talked a lot of shit before the season (and still does), accused Jett of using his foot as an excuse when he never did, while constantly coming up with his own repeated excuses; "It's my rookie year, still building, learning year, not as much time on a 450 than all these veterans."

Therefor, there will naturally be people who are happy to shit on him when he doesnt live up to expectation.

Coenen on the other hand, lets his riding do the talking, and acts like an actual normal person...not some tweaking yapping fuck tard, therefor he will generally appeal to fans with functioning brain cells.

So deegan had 1 lap that he was the fastest on the track and that’s what all the fanboys are cheering about? That’s actually wild lol. I literally can’t argue with the fanboys, it’s like talking to a wall

This weekend was probably the best we have seen Deegan look so far on the 450. He was running the leaders lap times while in heavy traffic, but that was still 2 seconds slower than Hunter’s best laps. You also can’t say the leaders weren’t pushing hard, they were both racing for the win lol.

This weekend was probably the best we have seen Deegan look so far on the 450. He was running the leaders lap times while in heavy traffic, but that was still 2 seconds slower than Hunter’s best laps. You also can’t say the leaders weren’t pushing hard, they were both racing for the win lol.

Scroll up dude. Deegan had fastest lap one time. And no, they were not racing for a win. Hunter had a 15 second gap on Jett.

It’s not hard to understand at all. I understand it perfectly well which is why I said that this place is a microcosm of idiocracy when it comes to Deegan. Pretty ironic you’d talk about appealing to people with functioning brain cells when you’ve shut off critical thinking and have instead replaced it with your feelings about Deegan.

You are just reaffirming my point that when it comes to Deegan, his haters are essentially letting their personal feelings, and to emphasize, opinions of Haiden, cloud any fair or charitable thoughts they might have on the matter.

Lucas goes from last to 4th and we hear that he’s Herlings 2.0. Deegan does the same thing, passing the same riders, and he’s just passing “old men” in a field that is weak outside the top 3 or 4 riders. How’s that work?

It seems to me that all you did was admit you’re biased.

Lucas did it in 12 minutes on a track he has never rode in a foreign country bud while being humble
