Last night's Presidential address

Has there ever been a time trump has not run his election claiming the same thing beforehand?

Was it really live or taped? Sure looked taped to me. He is Greatly Loosing and grasping at desperate straws to try to keep his power. 

Mid terms will decide his fate.

Every time a party has held all 3 parts they loose one of them at midterms. 

I can't watch or listen to that clown for more than a few moments, so I can't answer this poll question.  But I saw some lowlights on one of the "Fake News" channel afterward.

With all the speculation leading up to the speech, about what dumb ass was going to say, I was really surprised the media did not talk about this possibility.  That Trump was going to announce that Nicolás Maduro the former President of Venezuela now in US custody, had confessed to interfering with the 2020 US Presidential Election. I would not put it past Trump to offer Maduro some kind of a deal if he did that.  The fact than the media had not speculated about this at all seemed strange to me. 

I’m just glad there wasn’t foreign interference with Massie’s race. Can you imagine??

My main takeaway was that America is SO HOT again, right now. like we've never seen before

I take it that none of you are remotely concerned that China has hacked 220+ MILLION US voter accounts or that over 270,000 non-citizens voted.  Carry on, nothing to see here...

Like Massie says, Republicans won all the elections yet Trump keeps screaming about fraud.  I think the dude is off his rocker.  All this insanity about the reflecting pool and the back and forth with Iran.  Dude has been saying the same stuff about the elections since 2020 but zero credible evidence.

Democrats say if the “Save America Act” passes they will never win another election. Someone explain this to me? Why would they never win another election?

No they don't.  It just greatly complicates voting for a large amount of the population and solves a problem that doesn't exist.  

He was caught on tape calling trying to 'find 11,000 votes' yet he says everyone else is the problem.  Sure buddy.  

My poll response is that this guy has the most obnoxious posting habits in the history of Vital.

Can you explain this further please? I've heard it repeated multiple times but everytime i fail to see the truth behind the reason.

Actually Trump is saying the Republicans won't lose ever again  if they pass it.   

 I have heard democrats say it would make voting harder, but I have not heard them say they wouldn't win ever again.  To me if anybody is saying its going to guarantee an outcome for Votes to be a single side, that means its not fair.

 It would require a Real ID or passport to be able to vote.  So it would hurt people with less money that may just decide not to vote because of the added cost. A regular photo ID is $25 in MA, a passport is $165.  Real ID only 40.

 If it was really as simple as just providing a government issue photo ID, I think the law would have passed since every state either requires photo ID to register to vote or to vote.   

I think people also forget that ballots get rejected . If somebody tried voting and wasn't registered their ballot would be rejected if they were able to cast one.

I simply don't care. Not about what any of them say. They're all full of shit and out of touch with the reality I live in. All these people wringing their hands about what this one said or that one did, all the hyperbolic headlines we see....it's all intended to enrage or terrify us. Bread and circuses, that's all it is. 

All these people who have supposedly done all these things that are so horrible...yet no serious prosecutions of any of them. No accountability. 

Example: Ghislane Maxwell sits in jail for procurement and all that. Well, if she was pimping out little girls, what about the people who were buying that service? Aren't they criminals too? 

It's all bullshit and most people are too damned self absorbed to see it. 

I have no idea  how accurate that number is for non citizens , Trump said that  200 or 220  Million Voter records were BOUGHT, hacked or stolen.  

The  key word  is bought. 

 There are some states that its not even against the law to resell voter registration data for commercial purposes      and  32 states plus washington DC that ANYBODY can just ask for the data.

 I'm all for making sure elections are safe and only people with the rights to vote able to vote.  But I was laughing that all of the breaches that he brought up , involving voter data happened while Trump was still president. And  He already had investigations done back then after the election, and republicans did them during Biden's presidency, and hes now doing another one.  Biden may have been aging out and getting a little dementia . But Trump is acting insane,like literally insane, the definition of being insane is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.   

 And complaining that the people HE picked to work with him , kept info from him.  Not that a democrat did it,or that anybody was keeping info from Biden that resulted in issues with the election.

I didn't see the speech last night because I was Binge watching Bonanza trying to get to bottom of why Adam is even on that show. I did listen to it this morning as I took my walk. It's been months maybe years since I have watched or listened to a Trump speech. Whatever amount of brain cells I recovered during that off time was flushed this morning in 30 minutes. It's like taking a drink after being on the wagon for 4 years. Poof! All is lost. He is really concerned that he will be investigated up one side and down the other if the Dem's take the House. He should be concerned and he should be investigated. But not by those useless dipshits. They should be investigated too. Bring back Ken Starr! Fuck it! Bring back the Minute Men.

It's really smoky now also, especially in the upper Midwest and east to New York.

Will things ever be back even reasonably close to where they were Clinton/ Bush era ?

I don’t believe that the cost of a real ID/ enhanced drivers license or a passport will stop people from voting.
