I don't want to quote the post because there's a bunch of photos attached to it, but that picture of Reed above with the finish line banner behind him is absolutely iconic. I'm probably biased because that's the era I grew up in but that has to be one of the cleanest factory setups to this day.

I don’t think Marvin Musquin gets enough credit. Watch him at RBSR, and in Outdoors he would be hopping bumps on the track like a jackrabbit, very light on the bike
Agreed, Ol’ Marv was very technically sound on the bike.
When I think of stylish the Crusty Demons cover still springs to mind all these years later. Not even sure who it is unfortunately.

That photo was pretty iconic back in the day. Scott USA used a posterized version of it for their marketing in the early 1980s. Scott rep Bevo Forti's company van had it on the sides.
It's too bad that the old, darker blue Yamaha plastic was so susceptible to getting white crease marks in it. It looks a lot better than the new age flow-blue, but it just wore out way too fast.
It's also crazy how fast Jeremy McGrath and Chad Reed could ride a supercross track while looking like they were only going 8/10 intensity. To this day I feel like those two had the most perfect technique for supercross that we've ever seen.
Add Cole Davies to that list now too for effortlessly flying in sx
