Actually, his jock doesn't sound like bad place to be, considering the fact that he rolls through the whoops. You obviously aren't going to be shaken off.
I'm pretty sure that BobbyM could pass him through the whoops and kick him in the face at the same time.
\end joke
Look buddy, slow riders are a danger to the fast riders. The fact that you capitalized "Douche Pilot," says a shitload. If you have a mag on the east, let me know. I can shelf that with "nobody gives a fuck."
MXNW used to have it setup that after 54 points(I think) in one season you were bumped to the jr. class.
But a lot of kids/guys would contest it because they never won a race.
Or kids/guys that raced double points days etc...were moved up to fast.
I think to be moved from jr. to INT was 78 points in one season.
If you were moving up from 80's to 125's you could drop down a class on the bigger bike (same for 125 to 250 or 250 to Open).
Seen a lot of beginners race C class at AMA events and beat a lot of jr. riders who were winning their classes locally.
There were even a couple kids up that way that podiumed at Vegas World Mini on 80's and were somehow racing beginner
at Woodland,CC Indoor & Salem AX on 125's just a few months later.....seen it more then once. These kids had been racing for several years plus.
Then there were always the Canadians that came down to Woodland or showed up at SIR & PIR in their box vans racing 125 begger, that were running lap times as fast as the 125INT's. LOL
But yeah, the Beginner bar was definitely raised up that way.....
Odds are, he is paying off the AMA a healthy sum to update his website credentials.

Would never happen more the likely, well unless lots of people wanted to get together and prove a point.
But for the hell of it....
Let's just say 100 guys next season decide to go around and earn points and get their pro licenses, just the same way this guy did, same type of speed and skill.
They then send in their SX entry fees early to race the complete season ,to where the classes are full,sign-up closed, blah blah blah..you get my point..
Should the AMA turn away top guys of the sport and have a bunch of less superior/skilled riders out there just because they can "huck triples" and have earned the right to be there?
And you don't think the fans & industry would have a right to bitch about these guys,or say anything,or discuss it on the internet?
Because it is the AMA's problem?
1 guy or 100 guys it doesn't matter,it is really the principle of the whole thing.
Also this was discussed by guys like Button,Ping,Weege,Matthes,Watson, Etc...they didn't really have anything all that nice to say about this situation either. In-fact Jimmy said something along the lines of... that he left the stadium during that practice ,he didn't even want to watch the guy,it scared him.
Also,I respect the guy as a person/rider/racer and I think he is ballsy to be out there at his skill level.Should he be ashamed? No.
However,if the AMA would have done their job sooner,or really in the first place,we would not even be discussing this guy/matter.
And some of us have been racing and around the sport for 30+ years at all levels.
But since we/they talk/discuss stuff on the internet forums/radio shows/etc.., I guess that makes us "armchair mx'ers"? LOL
I think someone needs to photo shop up some "Armchair Mx'er" Professional Licenses.
Damon Smith = 2012 SX Champion!
Believe the Hype.
Second, he apparently followed all of the AMA rules in becoming eligible for his pro license. If the AMA were to try to pull his license they would have serious legal issues.
Third, burnsides quote could be a big boost for our sport. Could you imagine him being on ESPN explaining how he was a successful college football player and also played in the CFL. Then he gave Supercross a shot but didn't make it because the sport is just too dificult. That would bring some credibility from the "stick and ball" people.
As for the safety of the other riders, I definitely see the point but it is what it is. Until the AMA changes some rules #490 will probably be out there and I'll be hoping that he finds some speed.
You're doing it because it feels good to publicly ridicule someone.
How would posting a thread on Vital making fun of the guy's riding style help in any way? Is a safety official supposed to read it and ban the guy from the track? Maybe he shouldn't be out there. But a public witchhunt on Vital is not the way to handle it.
I see my anger got the best of me: Don't need to be callin' ANYONE any stupid f'k'n names...like I jus' noticed I DID.
My bad.
This dude needs to go back out and train/practice w/ a solid riding coach, learn how to take 20 sec's outta his lap and THEN try this.
'Til then, AGAIN, WHO the HELL let this happen?
I'm jus' apologizin'...
Pit Row
It reminds me of AMA Superbike. You'd have Mladin, Spies, Hayes, etc going mach speed, then the second tier of mediocre riders, and then a downward slope of slow guys. Your ability to dodge lappers going 10+secs a lap slower than you was almost more important than anything else.
The guy is a joke and for any average fan coming to watch the sport he is an embarrassment. We want the sport to grow and be professional, not made for a fool. Would we ever see this in ball and stick sports? NO
Get real buddy, the guy sucks a bigger d*** then your mom on prom night!
Now they don't know what to do because the AMA ,FIM and FELD have no balls.
Its one thing to go out to a track like washougal or unadilla and try to qualify, but in supercross dudes like this have no buisness at all being out there. Not even in practice. Its shitty that Austin Howell is sidelined after putting all that work into it because he came up on this dude w/ out knowing he was there. Really shitty.
The dudes skills seem pretty lopsided. It looks as if all he does is practice triples and 15-10 ft rythem sections. And no I'm not talking shit on the dude nor am I a "racist".
how can the ama handle this? i dont see it possible. if you traveled and collected your points, you have earned the right to be out there, per ama guidelines.
Unless they want to end up in court....this would probably be their only option to deal with guys like this.
Warn a rider once who is not jumping everything in practice.
If after 2 more laps they don't jump everything within standard.....black flag them and send them to the D practice session for the rest of the season.
Make this all clear at the riders meetings.
But see, they gave him a license and now they are stuck with him.
Well unless they grow some balls.
They could also change the license rules.
Make it so that if you are sent to 3 D practices your SX license will be revoked for good.
Sure would make some guys think twice about going out there that are not up to standard.
