They showed up to a Boston V. Texas baseball game last night. It was pretty hilarious listening to them doing "Football" chants the whole game.

In full flow it is an ‘experience’, way more organised than back in the day.

Will see how our ‘neighbours’ get on when they arrive🤐

Not so much the team but their ‘fans’ will bring a different vibe - unless the visa issues have stopped the less desirables

And no don’t want them to win, come on the Croats

Cool, I guess I would root for England over Croatia. If nothing more than I can not speak Croatian.

We have our fair share of morons who often spoil things - you'll find people with a similar mindset at Motocross events too though unfortunately. It's just a certain demographic who don't know how to behave. Especially with a few drinks in them.

I'm English but I'm in a minority of Brits (English, Welsh, Scottish) who want all the home nations to do well in all sporting tournaments. I'd love to see Scotland have successful world cup. However I totally understand the reasons why the Welsh and Scottish (and Irish) don't support us English, I probably wouldn't either if I were them.

Hahaha!

I guess there's much to learn about the U.K.'s culture and their relationship with each other.

I'm aware of the hooligans that like to drink too much and cause problems, but they'd need to be pretty well off financially to do it at one of these matches.😉

Also, the coppers here carry guns, so...

I have Scottish friends and family and love Scotland, but I also really enjoy it when they get sent packing. Mostly to rub it in my Scottish friends faces that they are shit. It’s all in good fun.

Belgium is crying; because, our guy gets to play after FIFA corrected their shitty decision. They even published  a bitchy-whinny “Booo Hooo” statement. It was HILARIOUS!

Man, I hope our guys kick some Bitchy Belgian Ass! 🤣

Their keeper should get a hero's welcome as well. That was a hell of a performance.

Haaland just caught Messi and Mbappe at 7 goals. It's probably going to come down to "last team standing".

The outrage isn’t aimed at Balogun or at the red card (which in itself was indeed unfair), but at the precedent that’s being created. Other players have also been wrongly sent off and suspended in the past (even in this tournament), but they served their suspensions like everyone else. They just never got this kind of leniency. Now that this is being overturned because of political interference is simply wrong.

Aren’t Americans always all about justice? Imagine if Lukaku had received a red card and suddenly was allowed to play again out of nowhere, 24 hours before the actual game. How would Mauricio Pochettino have reacted then? Or Trump? Or the American fans?

Not a single player of any European team is worried if Balogun plays or not. He's not Mbappé or Haaland you know.

It wasn't FIFA's decision to award the red card. Referees are independent.

Even Sepp Blatter criticised Trump and Infantino over voiding it. When you've got a corrupt ex president of FIFA calling out Infantino and Trump then the game's up.

Normally just watch the highlights but stayed up for the England v Mexico game. Incredible. That half hour or so where basically England couldn't attack (down to 10) and could only close ranks were seriously intense. Then with the 11 mins extra time on top of that... Great work ethic to hang on.

I understand the patriotism and rooting for your favorite teams, or players. I have a hard time being a fan of a sport where faking an injury is part of the game.

My bro was at the game. He's been to a LOT of big games in his time and said that this one topped them all.

The England fans were wearing pack-a-macs for the penalties, there was so much beer flying around.

Been a soccer player all my life. Played for Illinois for three years on the state level snd traveled the states competing. It is great to see the enthusiasm from the Americans as well as everyone else enjoying being here and experiencing USA. The matches have been top notch. Great tournament for sure

It’s part of the meta game, but I can see where it not for everyone.

Like yesterday. England was up by 1 and a man down. It’s in their interest to slow the game down, stay very organized and play clean. Mexico wants to speed things up, disorganize the defense and try to draw some fouls. So Mexico pushes harder and plays a tougher game. If the English try to match that, they’ll risk fouling or losing shape. So they can’t give back what Mexico is giving. So they pretty much have to milk every mistake the Mexican team makes to kill momentum and keep the Mexicans playing within the rules.

Some people enjoy it, others don’t.
