Quit lining up next to either Lawrence. Nobody on the planet can geta better jump out of the gate then them. It's true same thing every weekend. Soon as they get a wheel length they cut him off. He is trying to do the same thing , but don't have the skill to do it, yet. Give himself a little room so he has a shot at starting in the top 5.
He’ll just have to start better. 😎
Who cares
Unless I didn’t pay enough attention but I don’t think he was, was he? Either way, his starts are really hurting him.
There is no secret to the Start Techniques of the Pros. All you have to do is twist the throttle harder.

I didn’t see where Hunter was but Deegan was definitely at least 5-6 positions inside Jett.
EDIT Deegan was right beside Hunter.
I wish the LAWrences would start 34-35th a couple races.
So boring.
I’m not certain but it looked like he may have missed a shift.
Every racer lines up at the best place they can when it’s their turn to choose the spot so Deegan is no different than everyone else?
Ah ok, I must have gotten thrown off by the graphic/lack of attention lol
Deegan was mid pack then lifted to try to go inside in the first turn and got swallowed by the rest of the pack. Just a shit start in every way. Can’t keep doing that.
Deegan had 2nd pick, and went inside Jett, and then Hunter had next pick, not sure what he can change,
but his starts are going to need to improve to run with the brothers,
Come on. Your not serious right?
I told you so. , he started several gates from those guys and started 2 . I'm pretty sure he read my post between motos . Ill take all the credit
Prado had 3rd gate pick, lined up next to hunter and took the holeshot. FYI
Lol yea he got his best start so far just by not being able to start near the lawrences
Or he finished 10th in the first moto and all the spots next to the Lawrence’s were already taken.
Doesn't matter if Deegs get holeshot Hunter with run him down
Racing boils down to one thing. Momentum
Winning boils down to two things.
Who can build and maintain momentum the most efficient.
Nobody’s doing those two things better right now than HRC and the Lawrence’s.
Pit Row
Lol what?
Deegan had second gate pick. Unless he can see into the future, he didn't "choose" to line up next to Hunter. Hunter chose to line up next to him...and I would bet that he did because it was the next best gate...not because it was next to deegan.
Yamaha is def the best team to be on 250s, but for 450s, it's probably just ahead of kawi and wayyyy behind honda and ktm... he literally has no hope of consistent good starts on the yamaha in the 450 class... if he's locked into a long term deal he's fuked... better off with his own team with factory support at this point... I doubt honda would do that for him.. but ktm defff would...
True, but OP’s got a point, he does get pinched at the start. Basically his starts have never been good. On a 250, he could get away with it, but now he can’t afford to use all his energy early on battling through the pack, while Jett Hunter and Prado are long gone.
Isn't it about time for Yamaha to come out with a NEW 450?
