Pet insurance?!? Damn!
For thay kind of pay? A supervisor? Holy sh*t...that is frigging horrible.
And unless you want to sit on a freeway for two+ hours a day you have to live close to Irvine, which 120K a year ain't gonna cut it.
Welcome to the moto industry. For the love of the game.

Eiko Kirino as new president is a good move. Time will tell, but doing some research she certainly seems like someone who bleeds green and is very driven and involved. I'm not a Kawi guy but cool to see the bigger cogs in the machine starting to churn.
120k? 😂 I have so many questions
KMC is totally dependant on KHI so it depends how they are doing right now.
They probably already have someone chosen, who do you think it is?
Especially in Cali, where $120k is almost starting wage. Just the sheer inconvenience of working in that sh*thole state makes the wage even more of a joke. Hell, I live in the MW and wouldn't work for that.
I like that the pay "range" is $115k to $120k. What is the difference between the person they hire that they would pay $115k and the person they would pay $120k?
This is a joke? Right?
After tax, that's about 3 draft beers per pay period at 26 checks a year.
At 120K, I'd also look for the memo about Kawasaki moving their HQ to Lake of the Ozarks.
Reminds me of the cocktail waitresses in lower economies who can't afford the drinks they're serving.
Damn, wonder how much the subordinates make then
At least you can find solace in knowing your savings plan is not having the time to spend it.
How much is the employee discount for the new 2-stroke?
do californians laugh when they see stupid shit like "Pet insurance" or is it just the rest of the country?
True. I was going to say, "Holy crap, that's a lot of money!" Then, I realized that I work in the industry and no, it isn't. I'm just conditioned.
Hey M.L, team green needs your help!
Pit Row
I pay $1100 a month for my diabetic dogs insulin and special food and then add in a vet trip or two per month and its even more. I will get pet insurance for our next dog. 😎
Sold on the pet insurance bros.
insurance companies leaving cali real estate in droves to enter the pet industry. what a time to be alive.
Yeah..."pet" insurance. Is this like a death benefit if you lose a pet...or wtf is this bat shit crazy thing? Cause, at $120k, if this is a death benefit, I'd be going through about 35 cats a month.
It's health insurance, for your pet. How is that hard to understand?
And the 'most likely to be a serial killer' award goes to..
Cause it says...pet insurance. How hard is that to read?
Honest question, what do you guys think a position like this should make? No way it is 200k for a supervisor, maybe the director of racing is making 200-250k.
Having lived in 50+ years of my life in SoCal I agree with all the negatives, but it's more than the salary: health insurance is insanely expensive if you have to buy on your own. vision insurance +, Pet insurance is great if you have pets (we always had 2 rotties and vet bills can get expensive) but I'd rather have dental at this stage PTO bank is great, 401k match is rare these days but its free $, = that's a value-added bene package. CA also has no State Income tax which is worth a chunk of $ too.
The job probably means being on the road a lot, so renting an apartment (maybe with roomies from work) means no huge house expenses and if you lived close(r) to work and/or adjusted your commute times that would help there. Relocating a family there would be harder but for some individuals it could be doable for a couple years.
I may be lost in space here, but I thought that top rate mechanics made $100k. This has to be Bullsheet.
