So riders on the performance bubble are Plessinger (needs 3-5 in overall mx standings), Ferrandis (needs top 5 finishes), and Barcia (same as Ferrandis).
Ferrandis already has a p4. Barcia and Plessinger are probably gone.
Eli is already out for at least the next 3-4 rounds (strained and torn ligaments in his neck). Possible retirement?

Is the Quadlock 250 in the States something new? Surprised they wouldn't put Cam on a 450 in the states and then 250 for Worlds, Aus, etc. Would love to see him put on some muscle and see what he could do on a 450 with his stature.
No. They used to be a 250 only team. They were known as Muc-Off Honda and Firepower Honda in the past.

Not a surprise, Fahe made it a point to post that Chase stalled his bike by not pulling his clutch in. Even if true, leaders don't place blame, they find resolution, not good.

Not sure how in the known the ladies are but they do have most the top riders gf or wife on their podcast and seems the ladies of moto love it. I’d think they have at least some insider info from being friends with the wives.
I legitimately believe you would see all around improvement on that team with Coker onboard.
I still can’t figure out why the Kawi is always a gear lower than every other manufacturer on the track. The thing sounds like it needs to be ridden like a 250f and not a 450 that lugs(Prado issue). Anderson said the Suzuki is stronger than the Kawi in the engine department. That is saying something.
But the new team is always better than the old team....
Maybe the Kawi works for bigger guys. Marchbanks is improving.

When a team comes out and says their fix is for everyone to be on the same page and communicate better it tells you there is too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. This issue should not have gone this far into the team's tenure.
Coker has maybe one of the most knowledgeable staff on the grid and it hasn't been good.
What makes you think he'll make Kawi any better.
I think the narrative that they have way too many cooks in the kitchen at Triumph is right and I think you’re right to think that if they did the same thing at Kawi, things would get worse. If they drop Coker into Dan’s role, I think things would improve though.
That’s what I was thinking. The decisions over at Triumph have been questionable, but maybe that’s because of the top brass? Putting Smith on a 450 instead of a 250 in SX, putting Forkner on a 450 in SX before the east region started (then he got hurt), not re-signing Jalek, all of those seem like some dumb decisions to me (I’m also a nobody). Smith was also saying how they didn’t have a test guy running thru the parts on their new 450. Plus the swapping around with Scuba and Tedesco.
The Triumph team has went down hill since Coker has joined, the results and poor decisions are evident. I’m not sure if that is Coker or too many honchos with an opinion in one place, but they need to figure something out. Getting rid of Forkner and Swoll are good moves though. Forkner, obvious reasons and Swoll seems like he has lost some speed this go around from injury, he’s 26 and can’t stay healthy. Drop Jordan back down, Denno will be solid and pull in Cochran. He’s still young and shows flashes, maybe he could figure it out. Bring in another Vet like Anstie or Thrasher that might get a win and maybe last through 5 rounds at least. (More than most in the 250 class)
