Bonnie is maturing into a pretty good farm dog. Always on the lookout when I’m changing hay.

picked Moose up from his daycare/pet sitter this morning. He’s been there almost a week while I was in the states and my wife is in Okinawa for business. Dude is exhausted.

Pup testing our sprint enduro’s waterfall section. He cleared it no problem.

Was able to find a window and get up to the mountains for the first time in 3 years and go tent camping.

After Willows diagnosis with spondylitis(arthritis  in her spine)it felt like a bit of a gut punch.  Wasted money with zero results on K laser treatment and Librella. We are now giving her Gabapentin and Carprofin, which goes by many names. We had zero progress in the first 6 to 7 weeks after diagnosis but now she is inching forward though we know she will never be the do   she was. Her rear end is a bit wonky and she is slow to get up but she seems very happy.

Well guys, my OG bulldog "Gator" almost made it to 15 y/o. He was 3 months shy. Crossed over the Rainbow bridge last Wednesday. I believe he had a heart attack and died in his sleep. I knew it was coming, just never wanted to think about it. I'm gutted right now. I had him since he was a pup. Hug your dogs and play with them while you can. I'm gonna miss him....😢

Thanks Kenny. I'll get to doing things around the house, and something will remind me of him and that he's no longer with us. His food & water bowl, his big bed, toys, etc.. I'm used to feeding all three dogs ( I also have a 10 y/o Frenchie rescue) and now only two. Triggers my emotions, and I have to stop and collect myself. I know it will get better with time, but man it's tough.

Not dog pups, but I first encountered these guys on a bicycle ride a couple of weeks ago. Went back with my (electric) motorcycle and was able to sneak up on them and get some pics and videos.

Had to go the dentist today. Had to put the puppy, Mardi, in a crate. You ever see a dog with zero respect for a wire kennel? Got home and she met me at the door. Kennel is turned 90 degrees and on its side. She broke the hinge side of the gate. These Catahoulas are something else!

Yes, this is a a nine month old puppy. She’s trying to bully my Heeler that’s only 35 pounds. She’s is by far the most challenging dog I’ve ever trained. Was about ready to give up on her, until I discovered a hot shot collar. Three times and her no recall. I do what I want changed.

Yes Sir! Catahoulas are either mid size, or like a sleek Rottweiler. I’ll let you guess which one she’s taking after. Her parents weren’t the size she is now.  They’ve got crazy webbed feet and weird double dew claws on their hind legs. My understanding is the Coonass bred them to hunt feral hogs. Like the dog is the weapon! Very, very, sweet and stubborn at the same time.

My girls are pretty spoiled, they’re used to being with me 24/7/365. Mardi Gras is definitely not happy when I leave.
