Why is it automatic that he's faster than deegan or prado if he's truly comfortable, or a comfortable sexton for that matter.  He's not just destroying everyone right now.

Lucas is leading the MXGP title and he was clearly  the next best 450 guy after the Lawrences at MXoN.  It’s not an unreasonable take.

A better question is why some consider Deegan to be at Jett’s level when he is almost entirely unproven on a 450?

Does one weekend of racing show where someone is at speed wise?  There's been many a hero ride at mxon,  coldenhoff won over here and he wouldn't have been considered a title contender.  Malin beat emig, exc.

Thank you Lucas for restoring some MXGP honor today, clearly showing that Prado is only a shadow of his himself currently and that the level between the top riders in both series is actually very close. Southwick will be frikkin good and I cannot wait to watch those next years.

Also.. both Herlings and now Lucas calling Jett the greatest rider in the world is kinda wholesome lol

I hope they stay for their planned races, but if I were them I’d go home and let the bidding war commence.  They could only improve on what they did today marginally but they could do worse easily.

It was absolutely awesome having them race this series and I hope they can stay healthy down the stretch, win their respective championships then come back in 2027 full force. A pleasure to watch them race and also how well they handled themselves.

Impressive how smooth and in control Lucas is on the 450. Didn't see one sketchy moment out of him

spot on

I thought that was cool too. And it's just as cool that Lucas still wants to come over here and try to beat him when the easier option long-term would be to stay in MXGP
