As much as I put more of the issues this season on Chase than the team/bike, if that thing quit like it sounded like, I wouldn’t blame him a bit for just leaving it where it fell and telling the team “I’m done.”

Fuckin Kawi….hopefully this is goodbye to a couple of morans on the team…how as rider could you ever have any confidence in those idiots is beyond me. 

A guy like him could jump that with his eyes closed,  looked like he went to rev and there was nothing.  That's a wrap.

I really hope he is OK, you can't make this shit up, it just defies reality. You've got to just feel terrible for the guy.

That was insane. From the bike seemingly dying mid air to him getting up and walking off to the side after that violent landing 

I'm beginning to think either Bruce, or Dan, maybe both, banged your girl or something. You have been going hard in the paint on them for a while, so it must be personal.

I hope Chase will be okay, that was violent. Did he accidentally hit the rear brake mid air? I can see his right boot moving around just before the front dive. If the bike cut out midair on its own, I would absolutely walk away. It’s even more clear now this partnership will not work. 

EDIT: There’s a finite number of crashes any one person can sustain before long term damage begins to take hold. Chase is still a young man and I know he can bounce back. With that said, I’m honestly starting to worry about the guy. I think some extended time off would potentially be beneficial to heal up physically and reset mentally. 

My first thought :  how the fk did he get up and walk away, compared to when a soccer player takes a tikkle and rolls 9 x over 

My second thought:  hope he's OK, I am starting to feel sorry for him 

Chase could be a bit of a hero here. If he's not hurt , shake it off and put in a solid ride tomorrow.  Get some love back.

This hurts as a lifelong team green guy, that has to be the last kick to the balls for him. The bike cutting out at the worst time and having to bail out. What little confidence he had in the bike is all but gone now. I really can't see him coming back from this now. 

If nothing else, Chase Sexton is "durable".

Wondering if a contract can be made void by danger of riding said motorcycle? Proof for Chase.

They need to take this opportunity to part ways. Just be done. 

And if it really was bike cutting out like it sounds like, kawi will never again bring in outside help for the engine whether that has anything to do with it or not. 

Looks to me by the position of his hand, wrist and arm he was in full panic throttle mode yet no sound from the engine.

Prado looking more like a genius everyday.

You can see him pin the throttle and then decide pretty early to bail on it... that plus no sound makes me concur with the thought that the bike died. Jeez, that guy can't catch a break. He was limping pretty good, too - I hope he didn't break a leg or an ankle. 

Was that a twisted development engine, or is Kawi doing their motors in house? That was scary, especially the way he hit his neck, glad he got up on his own power. 

Yaa but Prados also had a dnf at hangtown because his motor went. Prado was lucky it didn’t happen over a jump like Chases.
