Deegan's rise is over

He got 4th. Now he got 3rd. I think the rise is going pretty good. 

plus I really dont like him at all.

Imo Prado's better and Tomac probably is too if he comes back. Could even make a case for J Coop being better too

Prado is better, Eli would be better if he were racing,  Lucas Coenen will be better, and Chase should be better 😂

Im not a fan of Deegs banter but the kid is fast and has worked his tail off to get to this point. 
His rides the last 2 weeks have been very impressive.   
I believe his spot on the podium is his to lose. 
The cream does rise to the top.

You can hate the kid all you want, I’m not a fan of his podium antics etc..

But you can’t deny he puts in the work, he was worlds better than last week, his first moto start was great, and motored his way into third in the 2nd moto.. 

he set the bar very high with all the pre-season crap, but if you look at it how it is, this is a solid rookie debut 

When is Prado going to be better? So far, that is not what we have seen.

He needs a bit more fitness and finesse and we could have some really fun battles up front. 

4 great motos does not suck 

I'm not a Deegan fanboi or a Jett fanboi.  I just appreciate good racing.  Deegan is WAY ahead of where I thought he would be for his first 2 races on the 450.  I expected 5-7th place while getting experience and learning.  He's the 3rd best rider in the class (followed closely by Prada) on his second race ever.  The progression is impressive.  I didn't think he would sniff a podium until after Redbud, if at all.  

Anyone that can't see the progression, learning and growth, doesn't appreciate good moto and is nuthugging on their favorite riders.  Again, I'm not a Deegan fanboi at all, and he has blown away my expectations for him in his career by 10,000 miles.  Respect.

People will say your crazy for the comparison, as Windham never won on a 125 like Deegz did on a 250f. But I get what you're saying. Deegz is an amazing rider who unfortunately is peaking during the era of another greater rider. Like Windham to RC. Its no shade to Haiden. His only hope is an injury to Jett. Also like Dunge and RV

Wtf did we see round 1?

I absolutely thought he would be this good already. He's even markably better than even Pala. He learns and progresses so quickly. Its the starts though and its always going to be about the starts. 3/3 great starts for the Lawrence's today. 1/3 great starts for Haiden

These threads get started because his haters know he is good. He is doing everything required to be a champion. Its a hard task and if he doesnt get to the top spot it wont be for a lack of trying. 

 

Lets face it, Hangtown is probably the easiest track on the nationals. Deegs will be struggling top 5 next week.

He is doing fine. But getting beat by 15-20 seconds is a big piece of humble pie.

Only thing he was better at then Pala was his starts. He finished roughly 5 seconds behind Jett at Pala and 15 behind Hunter. He finished 20+ seconds behind both at Hangtown with better starts. 

Little man just got fed +15 seconds on both motos by the brothers.

And one of them had half a leg.

Ya, he’s fucked.
