New generation CRf450R Just landed.

Gonna jump on the wagon and beat the dead horse especially since it’s my favorite motorcycle manufacturer. 

WTF Honda. You nailed it with the 24. Slightly regressed with the 25, then release this. Honda street bikes have some blue on them but it’s done tastefully. This looks like someone looped their brother in laws bike out and had some leftover YZ plastics they retrofit onto it. 

That thing was just as ugly in full red. Good it lost 10lbs, still the shrouds make it look so fat. 

The yellow and the white number plates are not helping that look IMHO!

Most jarring Honda since the 1995 purple monstrosity. 

Honda has always been the conservative manufacturer when it comes to style/image. Even during the neon vomitorium period of the '90s, they didn't do much compared to the others. I guess they're (usually?) the guy who doesn't want to look back 30 years from now and wonder why they got that haircut for their senior picture that was so popular at the time but qualifies for a clownshow now.  ( it seemed like a good idea at the time...) 😄

Of course, there have been a few missteps along the way... 

Just imagine the level of ugly that could be achieved if they went back to full-sized sidepanels! 😁

I wonder how many of these are going to make the ride home from the dealership with a blanket over them until the owner can perform a facelift? 🤔😄

I can live with the red and blue, it takes me back to some iconic late 90’s and early 2000’s bikes.

But the execution is horrible and they could have done a way better job with the graphics and seat cover.

Gotta hand it to Honda. The company is usually very, very conservative in their business model. This isn't that at all. But, they went from having one of the best looking bikes ever to having this visual abomination in one year. This honestly fkng baffles me they even authorized this visual mess. The 4 foot Honda logo makes it look like a start up company who has no market share trying to get noticed. I bet for 2028 it isn't gonna look like this. 

Now throw some gold wheels and a blue seat on it!

It reminds of the 82 works/83 production bikes in a good way. Coatings, special clutch, weight reduction in gears and starter system, bigger valves, more lift, rotational inertia improvements. I want one bad. First time since I bought a 2017 model I want a new Honda. Blue seat cover and bars  it'd look pretty cool. 226lbs? I remember the last bike hitting those numbers won some chips....and Herlings is making the thing look good imho. 

When they throw Jett’s SMX number plates on it this weekend it will look like someone threw up skittles on it…

I’m not much of a Honda guy. So much so that I haven’t bought one since 2006. I actually like the way the 2027 looks 🤷‍♂️

Its literally just the graphics and blue fender that looks weird. With a red fender it looks good. I’m sure even with the blue fender/shrouds with some better graphics it could look good. 

Anyways 10 pounds lighter and 10 more hp… how the f%*k did they pull that off in 1 year? I thought these bikes were pushing the limit for weight and power, guess not. Theyre not screwin around. Hopefully it handles great so it doesnt mess up the hunta brothers goin to a new model. 

I guess the look will grow on me (or not lol) but more excited to see the weight loss, the extra power and torque, the transmission changes, the chassis changes and suspension updates. 
The look I can change myself so not stressed about that at all. 

don’t disparage one of the greatest tv shows of all time by comparing “the suit” to that monstrosity 😂

I personally don't care what a bike looks like in stock form because for a couple hundred you can change it . I care how it works and how much it cost to  mechanically fix it but that's just me
