Dunno, just sounds like DB is saying the same as others on podcasts.
I'd say Jett will be there and just as he said in another interview...He just wants to get some points and his goal isn't to win the first round but rather doesn't want to lose a ton of points right off the bat.
You can numb your ankle pretty easily with a painkilling spray or cream without numbing your foot. Everyone knows reflex spray that is pretty notorious to do the job perfectly. They use(d) it a lot in amateur soccer, a friend of mine used it to numb his chronic inflamed Achilles before every game.
So DB goes onto say that he is "covering himself" just in case Jett is not racing, then states because he "heard some things over the weekend", without saying what said things were.
Annoying.
He suffered a career altering injury in practice. That’s what happened.
I hate it because I really want to see him go head to head and be the best he can this season, but it sounds like he’s already throwing subtle hints that he won’t be the same Jett we have always known.
I just reached out to Honda Racing management and Lawrence management; both responded, stating the rumors are BS, no further crashes or injuries have taken place, and he will be racing this weekend.

Everts had a career altering injury back in 1999 when everything except his nerves and main blood vessels where torn in his knee, but he came back for 6 world championships.

Well we have video from the last supercross of him with a severe limp that all the podcasters seem to be ignoring, we have Pulp parroting he’s going fast as ever, looks like he’s never missed a day of riding and now we have this rumor coming out. Saturday should be interesting

I don’t think that Michael is doing a journalistic expose here so really he doesn’t need receipts. I think in this case, on this platform, which is a message board, trusting his word because he has a history of being trustworthy as a credentialed media person is enough.
At the very least I think that’s fair. If it seemed like I was attacking you, I apologize because I wasn’t.
