Anyone not leaning towards Hunter is crazy. He is healthy. Had a tremendously strong year outdoors last year.. whipped the shit out of everyone at MXDN. His only downside may be that he was focusing on SX and not outdoors but still.

Hunter had his hands full with a 17 year old DNGR boy the last time they raced. He’s just not on that level anymore man the kid just had a better 250 career than Jett. This championship is between 2 guys and if one isn’t 100%, he’ll be fighting for 2nd with his brother and George watching the Mulisha 450 class takeover

You can't argue with Deegan fans, seriously. I saw a comment online from a Deegan fan saying Deegan was "intentionally going slow in the Salt Lake whoops so he could play and mess with Davies and that's the only reason Davies catched him."
They will just make up things in their own mind. They're literally like flat-earthers, the lights are on, but nobody's home.

Right now is the best part of the season. Many possible winners on paper.  Jett if he's 100% or close, Hunter ,Prado is a better outdoor guy, Deegan wants it bad .

Do we see a conservative ride from Deegan, dipping his toes into the class , or going for a win and shooting for a perfect season to be the second rookie to pull it off?

Do we see Jett at 100% ? Have we ever seen Jett ride at his max pace? Does he need to be 100% to win?

Will Hunter take his confidence and motivation of a superclose 2nd place finish in SX along with some dominating rides lapping deep into the field and be less willing to settle for 2nd?

WIll Prado be even faster outdoors and have wining speed? Or will he slot in someplace between 3rd and 5th ?

Will it be like many of the past seasons with hype of many possible winners , and the rider who has been dominate in the past coming in off an injury and being question mark ? But ending up right where they left off, dominating and the hopes of a wild season full of multiple winners destroyed in a  single weekend. WIth the question mark turned into a dominant win and an exclamation point?

Will Jett do what he has always done since getting on a 450, Hoileshot or  quickly get into the lead and keep a 2 to 3 second gap all the way to the checkers in both motos and  talks of a perfect season....

I kind of think that might be what happens. I am a fan of Jett's.

I do hope for a summer full of battles and multiple winners. I won't be surprised if none or all of those things I wrote about happen.

I'm very excited to watch and hopeful for Jett to be 100% and Deegan to be fast enough to be able to win. Along with the other guys being able to be right there too.

It could be an epic season, I hope that we can have good racing and everybody can stay healthy and safe. Etherway, I'm excited to get the outdoors started!

His first rides in the 250 class were building rides and atainable goals.

His wsx races on a 450 were also more conservitive and a seemed to be getting his feet wet and then going for a better finish each time he was out on the track.

He has a history of easing into new things. So i wouldnt be surprised to see him with a top 3 qualification and then a top 5 in the first national then shoot for a podium and then win.

I just wonder if hes so much more confident now that he throws away the old easing into things method and goes all out to try and win his first race on a 450 as a fulltime 450 guy.

I wouldnt be surprised to see it go either way. His style is more like the way RC rode. A little wild and not so smooth at times. But always looks like hes going fast. Wild open reving etc.

While Jetts style looks like hes not trying. Super smooth and lower rpm. 450s like to be ridden that way. Letting the torque of the 450 put the powwr down and allowing the suspension to be free and not bind like when your reving like crazy. Jetts style is more like Windham or Bailey.

I have little doubt that Deegan wont adapt well to the 450 and win races. Hes a fast learner and hes hungry.

I would bet on Jett or Hunter if I had to put money down.Jett has shown hes always a threat to win whenever he lines up on a 450 so until I see differen , Im saying Jett for the win.

That’s not true. Danger Boy is one of the most dominant 250 riders in history, the numbers don’t lie.

I'll throw this one out there.. I don't see Deegan beating Chase the first round (if Chase keeps it on two wheels). And that is even considering Chase apparently not liking the KX.

The reason I'm saying he could ride  conservatively is because of how he has ridden in the past when changing classes.  He's always started off with easier goals before going for wins.   His first races in 250MX, then his first races in 250SX , his WSX rides on a 450, each time riding with a goal that was in my opinion easier for him to achieve.  And then stepping the goal up each time he's on the track.  Conservative as far as pushing for a certain finish, like maybe after practice he sets his goal for a top 5, then next a podium and then win.  He might be bouncing off the rev limiter and riding aggressively , but position wise being conservative unless the better finish comes.

I think that he has a decent idea of where he is speed wise. But he's not riding with a large number of riders with 450 class race winning speed like he has been on a 250 for years. So he may not really know how his speed is until they start taking times at Pala. I've seen his recent videos, but they are 10 minute videos with clips. Of course he's looking really good, he's riding a lot and they likely have a lot of footage to work with to show his best corners and sections. When Jett got on a 450 there were lots of rumors coming out that he was so much faster on it than he was on a 250. I haven't heard that about Deegan.

Don't get me wrong, I expect Deegan to do well and be up there at some point during the season. I'm juts not sold on him being there at the first round yet. But at the sametime, it wouldn't shock me if he came out and won. I would be surprised and very impressed especially if Jett says hes 100%. But having watching Deegan come through the classes , I had a couple customers who were in his class and beat him at times while on 65's and superminis. I've been impressed with how fast Deegan learns and gains speed. I am just wondering if he will take the same approach with the building towards a win. Or try and go for it right away. ANd I think that the practice lap times may  let us know what to expect .

Yes his expectation may be a more conservative finish but he will be doing everything he can to get to the front. He will not ride conservatively

That’s not true. Danger Boy is one of the most dominant 250 riders in history, the numbers don’t lie.

I voted Sexton cuz if he is leaving Kawi that means this is a contract year for him and he has motivation. He certainly , arguably , needs wins the most he ever has. To be fair , consistent podiums and no biffs probably score him more points. It only take a couple wins in a row for some guys and they are back in the saddle again. Ill be impressed if Deegs podiums the overall. But im a doubter he wins early in the season. I think his youth and fitness will get him there later on the season(esp. If guys drop out 🤞).(🤞they dont obv.) What do I want? That is easy. 6 person dogfight for the title with all of them getting wins. All the best seasons are that way.

If Prado, Deegan, and Webb is the podium, these servers will be fried.

If Webb gets a top 5 outdoors this year Ill shave my eyebrows off.

That's risky, I bet there is gonna be that one weekend where 4-5 riders in the top 10 hit the deck and Webb gets a 5th overall with like a 10-4 just because you wrote that. 😂

But..., Google's Ai says Prado isn't racing next weekend. Ai can't lie, right 🥴?  Wonder what Claude and GPT have to say about it 😄.
