LED headlight options for KTM?

Are there any alternatives for LED headlights that look like the Baja Designs headlights on KTM?  I"m looking to upgrade a stock headlight on 2021 KTM 500 EXC and I'm hoping someone makes a light that looks like this but doesn't cost $460.

This is the only other option I can find for the right price range but it looks like they don't make them for the 2021:

I do not like the look of the $99 acerbis grid.  Any other China options?  I'm not too concerned about performance, just something that looks and works better than the stock headlight.

dont support anything from nicecnc. They rip off american made products and make them overseas. The problem is they dont do the R and D, just reverse engineer and steal from the people who put in the time!

I raced a 24HR with the Acerbis VSL light. It's incredibly bright. Not the exact aesthetic as the Baja Designs, but I highly recommend it.

Depends how much work you want to put in. There are a plethora of LED lights available, you just have to make your own mounting solution to work with a stock KTM headlight shell.

All Terrain Concepts (among many others) has lights that mimic the Baja Designs ones at around half the cost of the comparable stand alone BD Squadron or XL80 but you will have to wire it all yourself and make up a mount.

I've built multiple bike headlights using Rigid and ATC LEDs, and before that lots of HID conversions in OEM halogen housings.

If you want plug and play, Cyclops Adventure Sports has lower cost (than BD) LED light assemblies that bolt right into Austrian headlight shells or LED bulbs that work amazingly well in the stock headlight. All of Cyclops' stuff is race proven at the Starvation Ridge 24hr. Won't ever give up my Cyclops Solstice HID helmet light!

Hey Pizza Cobra, I honestly don’t much care about headlights on off road bikes, but that damn bike is beautiful, EVEN WITH A HEADLIGHT !

Thanks, Old School! I'm with ya on the headlight, but it was a necessity it to race through the night. I still tried to preserve as much as a motocross/XC bike look as possible. I should have never sold this bike -- It handled as good as it looked #PourOneOut

Just enough SC1 and bling on the enduro bike to make it moto ... ha ha. I think it looks great too, BTW!

I know it's a great light, my buddy runs one on his bike and it's very bright.  I don't love the aesthetic but it will be my other option if I can't find anything else.

I didn't see any bike lights from All Terrain Concepts and I'm not into fabricating anything custom.  I would be happy to support Baja Designs if their prices weren't completely off the charts.  Baja Designs sells the older squadron model for 1/2 the price, so why is the newer model $460?  No thanks BD, maybe you need to sell a more budget friendly line as well.

Anyway, I think I found what I'm looking for unless someone else comes up with a better option.  I'm guessing I can get this to the US for less than $250 with tax/tariff/etc.  It has the look I'm after and I'm sure it performs plenty well for what I need it for.  I'm open to other options with this look if anyone has anymore suggestions.

Thanks for the heads up, I was just searching on the web and their light was advertised but I'm going with Spartan unless someone else comes up with something better in the same price range.

But, here is a good option that is way less cost the the Baja designs that I would try.

$395 is still very expensive.

So true. I also have the Acerbis one and it is a good cost effective option.

@Goofy Foot

I said you can go cheaper but you need to make a mount setup yourself. You are obviously looking for plug and play fitment.

That's what you are paying for with BD or a setup from Motominded, Cyclops, etc...

I am a light whore, so besides the custom mounted stuff I do also run a Rigid Adapt XE when I'm night racing (24hr events) and the bike has enough stator to run it at full pop and an old school 8" round HID on my XR650R because it just looks right on that bike.

I make my own mounts out of chromoly to bolt the light solid to the triples (not on the plastic shell) and then fit the shell back over the top. I buy the OEM style harness connectors and make custom harnesses for the lights to work how I want and so I can swap any of my lights from bike to bike without changing anything.

A Rigid 4" E-Series light perfectly matches the stock opening in a Honda XR headlight shell.

This is an ATC 80w race light (Baja Designs XL80 copy) mounted with a Beta shell.

Two thoughts.

I have the BD light on my 500xcf, it’s easy to mount and works well. It was sorta expensive.

In my experience, when I set out to “do it for less money” I usually end up spending about the same amount, spend a lot of time building my own contraption, and it may or may not work better than the buy once, cry once option. There’s something very satisfying about doing it my way, but the functionality vs money spent normally doesn’t justify the money saved.

I had an old Baja Designs Squadron light with a mask for a 2014 KTM. I called them up on the phone and was able to purchase a headlight mounting plate to fit my 2020 KTM. The newest  versions of the Baja Designs lights take the pounding of years in Baja without missing a beat.

I hear you and usually don't cheap out on moto gear, but this is a headlight that won't get used much and I'm pretty sure these Spartan Mx lights will work just fine at half the price of BD lights.  This guy didn't know how to film in the dark but he said it's way brighter than stock, and the second video the guy said the same thing.  It looks good enough for me and I'll put the $200 I save into my tire fund.
