Um…..
wtf
Yep, looks like some people need to recognize that the powers that be try to control the narrative. Would the PR have come out today without Cooksie breaking the news?
So who going end up being force retired by not getting a ride for next year like what happened to Marv.

Just as Triumph and Ducati come in, GasGas and Husky leave.. guess the support can only support so many OEMs. Hopefully Suzuki comes back
Choosing ap over marv was insane. I’d be willing to bet even to this day marvs results would be better.
I'm assuming, entirely a guess, that AP's pay is much lower than what Marv's would have been and management considered that heavily
Cooksey just took his shirt off boys lol
😆
But those weren't real OEMs, just other colors of orange. It was a horrible idea from a branding and marketing perspective.
Marv could’ve got a ride outside the KTM group instead of retiring imo, someone would’ve hired him.
I would say 100% the “mainstream moto media” knew about this the same time Cooksey knew about this. I don’t agree with the whole the sky is falling narrative though. Having three teams under the same parent manufacturer didn’t make much financial sense.
Ahhhh crazy Cooksey was right again....
Husky isn't leaving they are just going back to their old model. Husky and GasGas were always factory supported private teams until Pierer decided to bring them in-house. I don't think he liked that Hewitt's team was out performing his flagship factory team lol. Bajaj probably doesn't care about that they are just seeing dollars and cents (rupees?).
Once again the professional moto “journalists” get scooped by someone everyone shits on.
Wasn't there talk a while ago during the whole KTM sale to Bajaj thing, that Husky was going to be their offroad lineup and KTM would be the MX/SX race bike division, and GASGAS would be euthanized? Wonder if that plan is in motion...
The beginning of Page 1 aged like milk.
What about those rider contracts?
250 riders under KTM tent (Ryder D, Bennick)
Mookie, RJ, and Casey Cochran are free agents.

I love when Cooksey does get something right, all his fans come to back him like he’s batting at 100% all the time 😂
Something something broken clock.
Exactly, that was the talk from the very beginning.
I'm here to eat crow. You win this round Cooksey
Everything he’s wrong about just hasn’t been proven right yet!!
That's hardly anyone. I have seen very few people that act like the guy is right 100% of the time. In fact I don't know how it's possible to believe everything he says or agree with everything he says.
That being said, he's right a lot more than people want to admit. It's almost comical when he posts a realistic news break, such as this one, and watch how hard people go to discredit it or act like it's not even remotely possible, just because it's him. I don't know why it's so hard to have a middle ground on things. He says a lot of stupid shit but he breaks a lot of stories too. Just call it what it is.
Almost correct. Tomac will retire this year, and Mookie will take his place in 2027.
I guess we know who Team Tedder next sx rider only is.
Wait, I thought Webb had already locked that down!😎
Damn. This sucks.
Ignorant question, but how many independent teams ride Husky over KTM?
Go check any of his social media comment sections and then tell me there’s nobody that agrees with and believes everything he says…
He’s been right before, but once again, he is not batting anywhere near 100%. He makes a video just about everyday, mostly filled with speculation or his own opinions, and is obviously fed some information from people in the industry. I sure do hope he is making contact with the ball a few times a year if he’s being pitched at nearly 365 times.
If you’re a fan of the sport we heard conversations of this exact scenario happening as soon as the KTM financial troubles became public some time ago. It’s not like this is some thing he just blew the lid off and nobody knew about, good on him for getting the timing right and being the first to mention it though. I had kinda wondered where the financials were at since Bajaj got involved
I said it in another comment probably about a year ago on here about him, but his style of reporting is exactly the reason the world is the way it is nowadays. Nobody cares about reporting what’s right or factual, just as long as they’re the first ones to get it out. He’s not the only one guilty of it, but he’s probably the most popular of them all in the MX world.
Besides all that, it’s pretty easy to not like the guy. Being Mirtl’s mouthpiece when he was under heat, multiple claims of riders using PEDs with no legitimate evidence, the childish vendettas against the Coombs Family and Matthes, especially when he was on Steve’s show years ago just gargling Steve like he was the coolest person in the world.
I’m going to guess that Mookie rides Suzuki next year with Kenny. I think it would be a good fit, the budget was there for JA, so it could definitely be figured out.
No, DC is employed by Honda, not Husqvarna.
