1 point seperation, Hunter is ahead of Ken, Ken has tried to make the pass but Hunter is riding wide. Last few minutes of the season.
Does Ken remember this moment from Seattle and take the position?
Yes. As far I know he doesn't suffer from Alzheimers...
Those couple of positions lost from having a kickstart could cost Ken the championship, cant change it now though, he just has to go out and win.
True he lost time firing up the suzi..
But what you forgot is..
Not having electric start has saved him time every other lap this season... he may have lost 15 seconds with the stall, but he may have gained a minute over the season thanks to lack of packing around an electric motor, battery, and extra wiring...
Everything has an up and a down side... even electric start...
😂😂
I’d bet Kenny would give his left nut for a proper factory integrated electric start.

Suzuki is air freighting in the latest greatest version kickstarter they have been working on. Adds 23 HP to the rear wheel! Kenny will be fine. Hopefully will be a good race between him and Hunter. Been a great season thus far. Looking forward to the winner regardless of whether they have a kick starter or not.
With the penalties they’ve been handing out for rough riding I’d say no he shouldn’t
Kenny or Hunter could absolutely destroy each other and no one is saying anything.
The first question a little silly. But the second. Basically will Kenny clean him out basically. If kenny took out Hunter he would have to make sure its big enough for him to lose some points and still win the title. The rough riding rule with points began with what Hampshire did last year.
Same goes for Hunter. If he wants to clean Kenny out for the win. He better make sure that Suzuki doesn't fire back up.
I am sure they will be reminded of the implications of a blatant take out
Kenny is too classy to pull a takeout. That said, I’m sure he will have no problem running it in hard if the opportunity presents itself. Ditto for Hunter. It’s #1 plate time
Kenny runs a big risk trying a take out move - if they both go down and his bike stalls he's toast.
Personally I don't see either guy going into the race with that tactic in mind, but I can see if it's last lap and down to the final few turns AND they are close enough either might send it to get the win.
Pepperidge Farms remembers......
Does Ken remember a racing incident? I’m sure he does, as well as all the close hard racing and respect they’ve given each other this season. May the best man win.
Who took that pic? ^
Excellent shot.
You're assuming his start button wouldn't have been damaged during the crash.
going to come down to who gets the Start in Salt Lake,
Thanks for the insight Ricky!
Im might be wrong but I thought it was @ML512 that got that one? I know it was posted in a thread earlier in the year but I can't find it for the life of me.
Pit Row
Such a cool picture, both wearing red boots, red gloves, black gear, Red Bull helmets, and red goggles....
Both guys would send it for the title, but neither will intentionally take the other out. (If the other guy falls, well... that's racing.)
Probably the two classiest guys on the track.
I would love to see Kenny win, but I’m happy for both.
What an awesome season.
Maybe they will hold hands across the finish line and be co-champions?
Ontop of that, we’ve both seen them “run it in” on eachother, even touching a little. So, I feel if it’s Hunter with a holeshot, it will be full on SPRINT by both of these dudes, and have we seen a full sprint by Hunter that hasn’t had mistakes? It seems like when Kenny gets out front those opening laps are FAST and CLEAN!
Either way I’m excited for it. Really rooting for Kenny
All the pods basically saying "I see another Denver" as the most likely outcome baffles me.
Do they not understand the difference between Kenny knowing he can take a comfy second last week and then absolutely send it to the moon if he has to this week?
I think both will be aggressive if needed early in the race, but on the last lap they'll be willing to be dirty if needed for the title.
I don’t see Kenny doing any take outs, just because I can’t recall him ever taking that path previously for any reason (but my memory slips me plenty LOL!). I do see Hunter taking the shot if he needs to though.
Cooper Webb just took his shirt off...
I see these two inviting each other over for a beer post race.
I half expected Ken to show up with an E-Start installed after it was clear he was in this fight.
I do seem to remember Hunter taking out Joe a few years back on 250’s near the end of the outdoor season so I wouldn’t be surprised.
