Ken v Hunter, who wins and why? And yes I know Webb is still mathematically in this but let's be real, he's shown zero race winning speed all year and has not won a race so if he somehow wins it will be some Tim Ferry 97 shit.
Personally, I'm torn. The 2 guys who I support and want to see win the most, and honestly, never thought I'd see either of them in this position at this point in time and I'm happy to have been proven wrong.
I want Hunter to win because I'm Aussie, he's a great dude, super humble and has grinded it out to get here.
Kenny, dude has been through the wringer over the past 10 years and most people, me included, would not have him down to be in with a title shot in 2026. He would thoroughly deserve it and may not ever be in this position again.
I'm happy for either guy to win and at the same time, will be devastated for the guy who doesn't win. I can't call it, either personally or realistically.

For me it's like picking your favorite child!! How the hell to do you root for one over the other. Both guys are class acts and Hunter has done phenomenal managing the season with great race craft. HRC has had some titles recently. Kenny has paid the price over the years and endured sooo much that I guess I'm hoping he wins. For him!!!! And his family. For the team and Suzuki. And for Larry Brooks!!!

Well, with Deegan coming in full time next year for the '27 SX...the years to come will be real slim pickins for Ken or Hunta in SX. Both know it may be hard to ever get another chance at a win, let alone a championship. Sooooo, the pressure is definitely on these 2 right now. Coop has 3, so he's solid for his career.
Ken roczen will be able to do things on a bike at age 50 that deegan will have never been able to do

If Kenny wins it will be the greatest redemption arc the sport has seen IMO. I hope he pulls it off but Hunter isn’t going down without a fight.

I want Roczen to take it this year. But...be realistic...Roczen is in no way going to beat Deegan for a championship in either SX or MX unless Deegan gets injured. In MX, Roczen wouldn't be able to keep Deegan within eyesight.

Yeah, if he was down 24 points to only one guy, then he would kind of have a chance. But being down ~24 points to two guys means that he realistically needs both of them to have at least one last place finish in the final 2 races. That's just too unlikely for Hunter and Roczen to both have bad races.
