Whoever, thank you, a distinct honor and pleasure - to host and watch this legend dissect the 40 and 50 plus gang. Hey BooBoo. IMG 0435 9IMG 0438 4IMG 0437IMG 0434 7IMG 0432 4IMG 0433 5.jpeg?VersionId=uKAEvA9cdWN0r4FBlatYKZ0KvgoIMG 0436 1.jpeg?VersionId=vIMG 0212 4.jpeg?VersionId=Rtw8LFy

Ezra Lusk makes 97 CR250s complain about vibration. Yogi is the man.

Had to stop in Pinkerton to pick up his last check and turn in his uniforms.

The same guy that invited him to Texas. Him and his son were at 3 Palms near Houston for an Area Qualifier a few weeks ago. They were in back to back motos. His son in 450 B and Ezra in Over 50. I put a stop watch on both of them on their second lap. Ezra was almost as fast as his son, only 3 seconds off. Question is, if Yogi was pushed could he shave off those 3 seconds? I think so...

Love the fact he’s wearing No Fear !!   Also, glad to see he still likes to ride.

Can you imagine sitting at the gate and he pulls in next to you? 😂 I know what would be going through my head!

My favourite rider back in the day (not to dwell on things but dear lord it's hard to believe how fast 30 etc yrs go...). I loved his style and technique, and for me he was the first guy to really start taking it to Jeremy indoors on sheer speed alone. Of course Ricky came along eventually but Ezra was primarily the biggest threat to MC there for a while. When he got injured at the start of 2000 at A1 man I was so pissed for him... Glad to see he's happy and doing well. A great career.

Shorty was on my gate in +40 this weekend at the LLQ race at Metroplex MX. He had a separated shoulder and just rolled around in the first moto before leaving.

One of the best to ever do it and I'll hear no argument on that. Unlucky of him to run into the buzzsaws that were MC and Ricky.

That 2000 title would’ve been a battle between Ezra and MC had Ezra not got hurt. That one sucked.

1000011203.jpg?VersionId=kTBEuAnd he was seriously ripping. I realized seeing him there (my son lined up next to his son with Ezra packing his gate) that I was totally star struck.   I've stood next to Chad Reed at local races,  Andrew Short, Tim Ferry and the name Ezra Lusk holds a differnt kind of weight.  I even showed my kids Phoenix 2003 SX.  I think because I remember when he was a child prodigy when I was even younger, clear through him winning SX mains.

He was jumping all the big hits with ease, ripping through the deep ruts on the gas and looked like he was 25 years old.   So badass.

This past weekend in Chillicothe, Ohio. LLAQ. One of Scott Plessinger’s circuits.

He can still do it because he was paid to develop and hone an amazing talent over the duration of a pretty long career. Perfect candidate for the Vet Pro class that should be.

I remember the #3 but the #11 still feels like yesterday too. Hes a bad ass. I wonder if hes on brownies level.

I would be cool if you could just let it go.  Race sportsman at Loretta's like the rest of us normal guys and when these guys show up somewhere like this enjoy the company of someone who is a world class talent.  This guy was probably in the top 5 in the world from 98-2000 and it was super cool to watch him in his element even at 50 years old.
