Make half of all SX events Triple Crown?

5,3,2 points for heat race podium. Triple crowns should be double points. Can’t see the riders or teams wanting to do 8 rounds of triple crown. 

Make it 2 classes, 450 and 250 . 

No more 'Half Champions'.

As interesting as Triple Crowns can be they also cause the potential of 3x the amount of incidents and possible injuries especially in the first few laps, the series is already long enough as it is.

Cleveland is the 1st triple crown I have attended. I skip Indy because its a triple crown. I definitely do not like them. I am not a fan of them when they are on TV and now I can say I do not like them in person.

EVERY SX should be 2 x 20 min's for 450's, and 2 x 20 min's for NATIONAL 250's (no East/West crap).

I mean a heat race and a main are 2 gate drops already.  

I like a 2 moto format.  For Supercross I really love the triple crowns because it’s all racing that matters and no hour break between heats and mains 

I can’t believe anyone likes the traditional over triples. Watching 3 hours of gate picks that barely freaking matter is so dumb.

Put me down for all 2 moto format.

We have a 450 SX championship that has 2 guys separated by 1 point with 3 rounds to go, last year the championship was won by 2 points, maybe just leave it alone, I think they've found the sweet spot.

Set the gate picks from qualifying earlier in the day. And a separate race for those outside the top 20 qualifiers.

Let the "night show" be about 2 mains each class. 15, and 20min. for both.

And 30 min. for track prep between the two. 

It'll never happen though.

I like it the way it is. A few a year is good, but half would be too many.

Two 20 rider heats, top 5 advance. 10 rider main, winner takes all points.  10 rider dash for cash for those that don’t qualify, heavily weighted to favor the winner.

I'm more a fan of having the format be the same throughout the season. Whatever it is: regular main events, triple crowns, or chicken fights in a kiddie pool filled with KY jelly. Keep it consistent. 

Why just half?  Why not make triple crown the new standard race format for the series?

I think we need to stop making needless tweaks to satisfy the ADHD-sufferers. Virtually all forms of racing have some sort of gimmickry in the points formatting now.

We should do bracket racing at one SX a year too.

Supercross as is, is fantastic... no need for any of this funky chit.... supercross is more extreme  when its all on the line with a single main... no need to water it down,  nor have more first turn pile ups... 

What IS needed... is more time off for the racers... end thread... full stop... get rid of super stupid cross... 

Right 2/3 of it being commercials and for gate picks is for sure the sickest way.
