Pretty straight forward, what y’all doing with your old/hokey gear?

I’ve got some pants and fox boots that sit in a corner, would be cool to get to someone who could use.

I’ve started listing it on marketplace for free.  Young parents are stoked for free gear and it’s not worth anything to me not being used.

Check your local off-road series and see if they have a donation table. The bitter part of me worries that someone who doesn’t even ride will take the stuff and relist it for a profit. I wouldn’t mind selling or giving it to a resale shop like the one I found in Salida, CO. I realize it’s personal flaw, but I wouldn’t want some random person taking my stuff for free and selling it to a person who is strapped for cash and just wants to ride.

I really wish discount resale shops were more prevalent. I would love to open one up when I retire.

You’re not going to believe this, but there’s a guy here on vital that will clean all your dirty gear, FOR FREE! They may come back a little sticky.

I wonder what happened to him…

He played it off really well, almost believable. 😂

Save it for mud and bad weather events.

Here in Japan you can sell it as thrift clothes, seen so much old riding gear for sale here, for more than you would think. Not like matching sets or anything, I guess people like wearing it as fashion lol

My kids gear I mostly gave away to other parents with kids but they weren't racing or anything, just some play riding. My stuff I hang all the jerseys up but I have boxes of pants.  Boots I sell before they get roached and I generally keep the helmets.

Where's this resale shop in Salida?  I can swing by on a trail ride day and drop some off!

Pants: Worn until the knees or grundle blow out. Run those bastahds until my saxx wear through and my nuts raw dog on the seat or my knee braces and boots pack up with mud.

Jerseys get given to the kiddo

Helmets get displayed in the office

If I have a set that I don't want to keep and just let go I just try and watch for some kid at the track that is maybe close to the same size and doesn't have any and give it to them.

Mine don’t get replaced until they have so many holes in the knees that nobody would want them.  Must be a bunch of ballers around here…🤷🏻‍♂️
