I’m also waiting to see what a friend in So Cal has going on with his remodel. He needs a water repipe. If it works out, I’ll be loading the bike up next to my tools to do some desert riding. We’ll see.

We will have to go riding if you make it back down here.

Thanks. It’s one of those projects I don’t think I’ll ever finish. If I’m headed to California to ride in the desert, it changes. If I’m riding woods, it changes.   Keeps me busy though.

Crows and, squirrels are cool. They make for good distractions. Which is why I posted Casper in this thread.

Gonna be taking a break from this place. I realized, I don’t interact with irritating people in my personal life. Scrolled through three different threads yesterday. First page to the last page. Arguing. Deleted two of my own threads. Not interested in feeding Roo Roper’s and, Baristas. I’d be a hypocrite in doing so… ✌🏼

Oh, look!!

My last 2stroke was a 01 CR 250. I love that bike.  I had an 00 CR250 too. Got a CRF450 after. This is a customers bike that I've had in my shop . It was a Blackfoot Honda he bought back in 03 from the team.  There are bolts missing from the rear fender , but its super clean and has all new OEM hardware for most visible fasteners.  It has the original riders name decal on the frame, I think it was Blair Morgan's bike. I can't remeber  for sure if it was his ,  2 was the riders National  number in Canada.   Its pretty much stock looking , but the frame is gusseted and has extra welding . Cool bike to look at.

I haven't ridden it, but the owner said its still the fastest 250 2 stroke he's ridden. He gets new bikes every year still and has had every brand .

I lost most of my photos along with all of my bikes in a fire . I had stacks of racing photos and posters that Paul Buckley took. These are a couple of the only ones that didn't get lost in that fire.  I still have one of the bikes that burnt. Its wild to look at what melted and what didn't.

In the pic of me lifting the 97 CR, the peg was stabbing my crotch so I was lifting my leg to keep the stabbing away from my gibbly bits . Both other photos are from Southwick.  The local Shop Bettencourt's used to pay $100 per win if You wore their purple jersey's. I saved mine for cold muddy days and it was always good luck but I never won a moto in it. Photo credits to Paul Buckley for the 2 race photos . and  my friend Jenn took that photo of me holding my bike .  cr250 1.jpg?VersionId=KOZcFBkioBwcf9f.vh4A1IjnjXq01cr250 3cr250

SO  I guess we agree that trust helps when somebody is negotiating or having a conversation ( don't worry that I'm confusing those 2 things, I understand they are not the same thing)?  I haven't been lying , but it really seems like Your not understanding my posts, I do suck at writing though so I don't blame you. Trying to keep stuff short and get my point across  is not a strength of mine.

It seems like we agree that lying hurts a reputation  and as a result might just make it harder to negotiate?  Since You seem not to trust anything I say,  how would that impact the way You negotiate something with me?  Think it makes it more or less likely that we could agree on some sort of deal? I personally would do things differently or not at all if it was an option , if I couldn't trust the word of somebody I was trying to work out a deal with.

It seems you take a statement that seems innocent and honorable and want to apply it where it doesn't belong. Do you think a kid coming home with a project he's so proud of, shows it to his mom for her excitement. Your blanket statement would have her divulge it's the ugliest thing ever because she needs to tell the truth. Or you're going to tell someone selling you a truck that you need to give him an extra $1k because the trucks worth more than he realizes?

No, we don't agree because context matters.

When you twist people's words so they fit your narrative,  that's a lie. If it's an abberation, we could write it off as a misunderstanding, with the frequency you do it, the logical conclusion is, you do it on purpose.  If you're playing poker and misrepresent your hand, that's just strategy.
