Deegans main rival this year on the west coast raced with Jett in 250’s, so did Jo and a handful of other guys.
Go look at jetts comp his last year in 250sx. It's almost the same field minus RJ.
Congrats Haiden!
Dude has been doubted all the way and continues to prove the doubters wrong(myself included).
At this point, while 450s are tough, I can only think he will rise to the occasion like he did through the 250 class. Remember how he would build throughout a race weekend and get better as the racing progressed? Dude is a scholar of the sport.
He's not even close to my favorite rider(s). I'm kinda a fan some times if that makes sense. Against so many riders in the 250f I rooted against him. He's higher up the list in the 450 class though.
But the one thing I do like about him i guess is what most hate about him. And that's his interviews. HIs attitude. His confidence that he has in himself to have the balls to say the stuff he does, call out his competition, and yet he can back it up.
Unlike almost every other rider in the sport, (save maybe Webb from years ago), they all care too much what they say and what we might think. Deegs doesn't give a shit what we think. It's fucking refreshing and fucking awesome!

The outdoors should be epic if everyone stays healthy. Hopefully Sexton will get that Kawi dialed in and be in the mix up front . Make or break for Prado , no more excuses……
Someone had mentioned Jett’s 450 stats and compared it against Haiden’s 250 stats, making the point that Jett had more 450 wins to Haiden’s wins, presumably arguing that the 450 class is much tougher than the “kiddy class” etcher had more wins.
As good as Jett is, he never went 22-0 in the 250 class, so maybe the class is tougher than some think. In fact, all the perfect seasons (RC, Stewart and Jett) have been in the premier class. My point was not to downplay Haiden’s wins just because they are in the 250 class.
Brian figuring out how many botox shots he's had since this morning...
Why does it bother you so much what Brian does? Every time Haiden is mentioned you take a shot at Brian or another member of his family.
Your not a fan, we get it, but the constant personal shots at him are getting kind of old and worn out, please come up with a new schtick.
When you wake up in the morning after a solid nights rest and remove your butt plug, is Brian who you're thinking of?
He was the same when he was Hairlicker on here….
Concur…. Not sure that post above isn’t a copy/paste from one of his previous posts.
Same schtick…always attacking anyone not name Lawrence…
I can’t wait till that Fox race. Very interested to see how everything plays out in the 450 class.
Did everyone watch the RC and RV podcast? They expect Jett to dominate Deegan which everyone has to think he will. The thing is, Deegans trajectory is insane. He rode so much better this year is SX where he kind of struggled against a very fast Cole Davies. And his 250 lap times are faster than the 450s. Yeah I know people will say the tracks aren’t identical. But last week the track was gnarly for both classes.
Deegans home track is Fox. Will Jett be ready for that race? You know Haiden will be in full send/WFO mode.
What is wrong with him? I wish he would talk like a human being. I guess thats why most the time Brian does the talking for him.
Side note Duff was such a respected mechanic in the industry. Now he is a Deegan Fan girl. Tends to say cringe things these days.
Yes Deegan is great. Certainly up there with guys like Ferrandis and Osborne and a couple above them. But they dont need to tell us that all the time. We see it with our eyes.
I will say, I have never seen a 250 outdoor championship the past two years where nobody but Deegan have the fitness for the whole moto. It is weird. He didnt have to be the fastest. the others would just slow down 10 to go .
I think Chad Reed said it best. Jett wasn't the greatest of 250 riders. He got it done. But when he went 450 it all changed
I love it that he is the unremovable splinter under your paper thin, fragile old skin.
Pit Row
What are you going to when Haiden takes out Jett at some point?
Well I don’t see too many disagreeing with me….. other that you and your boyfriend…
Fox is Deegan's home track, but he's only won two of the three times he's raced there. Jett's undefeated there.
Whatever happens, though, it'll be fun to watch, especially when you mix in Tomac, Hunter, Sexton and Prado. Somebody's gotta get sixth.
Had a plumber doing some work at the house today and at one point the plumber noticed my wife's MXON shirt and he asked if we watch supercross. Turns out he's a deegs fan. Plumber said he was a fan of Brian doing freestyle back in the day and hasn't watched any motorcross races since but then he heard Lil Deegs was tearing it up so decided to watch a race. He said he now watches all the races and is a big fan of the sport now even though he doesn't ride. Sure enough he was familiar with Sexton's set backs and the bottom falling out from Eli's results lately so seems he doesn't just pay attention to Deegs.
For me, the plumber's revived interest in watching the races showed me that the Deegs online presence and general presence in the sport is helping the overall fanbase in some way.
Maybe it's similar to the Aussie conundrum. Why are Aussies cool and friendly when on their own. But put 2 or more Aussies together and it's a complete douche crew. Can you guys not behave as normal in a group?
Kiwis of course are always cool, no matter the circumstance.
Non-moto, but something I just can't figure out.
The only thing I knew about the sport, was that at one point when I was a kid, my dad owned a certain model of dirt bike. That was until 2021 when I saw a video of Brian taking the pastor of the church I attend on a can am ride to show him around the property I think. I then found the Deegan channel around when Hiaden went to Star, been a fan ever since, I will always be grateful for the deegan's having a youtube channel. This sport has its highs and lows, but man is it awesome.
He'll probably have less of the habitual meltdown/thread deletions than you do.
A lot of folks in our country like to think the biggest personalities, the edgiest or raddest people come from the coastal states. I.E., Cali, New York, Florida, or somewhere the "hipster" trends start.
Being born and raised from Fort Dodge, and Storm Lake, IA (Storm Lake Honda has been a longtime sponsor of SX riders) it's cool to know The founder of the Metal Mulisha and a pretty outspoken edgy guy like Brian Deegan came from Nebraska.
His strong faith doesn't matter to me. But him and his wife Marissa have done a heck of a job raising their children and I believe they have a strong supportive marriage. And really for most of us, that's what matters in life
Honestly, the Deegan family is a serious measure of motorsports success. And it isn’t ending anytime soon. I don’t think Huck has the same drive that Haiden does, but you can bet that if Brian can find a discipline that he excels at, he’ll push him.
But I’m getting older and would prefer more Larry Fitzgerald and less Dennis Rodman.
Fortunately, we do typically get a more humble Haiden when he doesn’t win. That will be more often on the 450… But it’s coming, you can be sure of that. And if Jett isn’t 100% at Pala, it could be very soon.
Post a reply to: Congratulations to Haiden Deegan
