Davies looks better than both Deegan and Jett at that time in their careers in SX, yes. He doesn't look like he's just in his 2nd season. Jett had a lot of speed but hit his head pretty good a couple times, Deegan wasn't that fast but consistent. Davies has both already. I just really hope he will also be as good in outdoors as those two.

Davies looks like jett does on the 450 but on the 250. Hes def the most polished technique wise at this point in his career vs anyone ever has been. His top speed on the rest of the track isnt as fast as haiden, yet, but once he gets more experience hes gonna be a problem.

Hes as good as any 18yr old we've seen, outside of James. Total Jett clone. And yes better than Deegz at 18. Haiden has made drastic improvements but Cole in 2 more years is downright scary

Honestly, seeing Suzuki winning on what is essentially a 10+ year-old platform should finally put this whole “bikes are constantly getting better” narrative to rest.

Dirt bikes hit a plateau years ago.

KTM Jr Supercross "random selection" is such bullshit.  I get it they want kids of big name guys to ride...but I wish they would admit it isn't random.  They hand pick those kids.

I'm sure they handpick some of them....children of former racers certainly have a better shot at getting in. That said, it's not like it's all of them or even a large percentage. Plenty of kids whose parents aren't now or never were anyone special
