Looks like regular ADV/Dual Sport like Arai XD or others. Doesn't look like it seals from below for dust, etc. like new 6D Max does.

Seems like this would be hot as hell not having any kind of extra airflow in that gap around the goggles you normally have.

I also remove the nose guard on the Armegas I use as well it gets in the way of the already existing guard all the helmets have.

Ive ridden street bikes and road raced with full face helmets and admittedly the only time it ever got excessively hot was when sitting still. Never had any real issues with airflow even in the height of summer in the south west desert or eastern humidity.

At that point just everything is hot though so not the best comparison.

what's the point of the strap if it only fits a 6d helmet?

i understand the idea of "locking" customers to the brand with manipulative strategy, helmet and goggles that only fits the helmet,
Just like ice trays that make ice that only fit you water bottle, razors cheap but replacement blades are not and only fit the model, Apple and lightning cable etc

1. I sweat, not becuse of my googles, with no foam absorbing the sweat it will run down my face and into my eyes is my feeling.

2. someone keeps stating it is sealed? surely it is not sealed from underneath at neck area so no difference from a ATV helmet with a visor really, and if it is, it would be a  "Head Sauna kit", but we sorted that with an extremely vented helmet so you need to buy the new helmet.

3. What is the point of the straps, the goggle only fits 6D helmets, might just make it snap in with magnets for quick on and off

4. i feel like the replacement lens is going to be twice the price compared to competition, more material etc

im sorry, but it falls into the gimmick side for me, It is the most ridicolus thing iv´e seen since spokeskins,

I like the idea, but from a business POV it's a big chance that it fails. You limit your target audience by a lot with a proprietary goggle which means you will produce less of them = less gross margin.

Sure you can probably lure some people into buying the helmet too that has been running other helmets so that is an upside, but the question is how many will you lure over? Enough to cover what the goggle will cost you?

Either way, i like the innovation and i hope it will be a success!

Also, if this catches on people will get smacked into next tuesday when the winners throw their MAX goggles up in the stands.
Goggle case will be carry on size with wheels.
Tear-Offs in A4 format will clog up radiators and act as "slideout sheets" in the corners
Window scrapers instead of rags on the back of the pants on muddy days
Tear-Off´s bought in running meter with a sailboat double block pulley system...

im just having fun, sorry :-)

It only works with current 6D models because the goggle port shape has to be exact for sealing around sides, top, and nose. It seals from the bottom to the lower portion of your face.

Suppose to seal really good but the ultra wide field of vision is the key. Test riders had used the term “game changer”. The improvement of peripheral vision is amazing. Woods riders have said they wouldn’t have to turn their heads as much going fast in tight sections. I hear it might get licensed to other helmet manf. to fit their custom goggle port shapes.

I just heard that 6D is having their press launch on 4/1 and the info will be embargoed until 4/3. So, a lot of feedback and questions answered after 4/3. Also heard plenty of initial supply headed to the warehouse. Going to be interesting to see all the response once everyone gets to try.

IF, the goggles prove to be a meaningful improvement, it could drive more customers to buy 6D ATR-3 helmets. Way too early for me to draw any conclusions.

Looks pretty good to me. I will probably give them a try. When I got back into riding one of the first things I noticed was how restrictive the vision is with typical goggles. Interesting to hear his comments about breathability.

Looking at ordering the 6D helmet and goggles today and tried using the KEEFER26 discount code that should work for 6D but code comes up invalid.  Anyone used the code successfully?  Am I off in some way with the code?

As a very sweaty person, I'll be waiting for real world reviews. I've gotta swap goggles every time I come off the track or the sweat fully saturates the foam and gets into my eyes and the inside of the lens

Did you watch Keefer's review?  It got a little more into the sweat angle of things with both guys talking about sweating but that it never got on the goggles lens.  I was thinking a person could also use a sweat band to help out.

FYI...Keefer folks got back to me on the discount code for 6D.  Suggested using Keefer25 instead of Keefer 26 but that the 25 code prolly wont work on the goggles.  That is the case currently....Keefer25 discounts just the helmet at this point.  Shot an email to 6D asking if they have any thoughts on when the 26 code will work and will it work ok on goggles too.

The Keefer vid also brought up that the new goggles work better with glasses than "normal" goggles...that was the last thing I needed to know.

I ordered a pair. Hoping to reduce the pinching of my nose from other goggles (oakley airbrake)

I had a similar thought after reading Vital's review except . . .

I want to run this helmet (and goggle setup) so badly but 6D helmets just aren't comfortable for round heads like me.

6D if you're listening, please offer an alternative shell shape!

Wonder of they work with the YouZ correction lens inserts? Loyal 6D guy but for the $ the helmet interior pieces should be better quality IMO….

I like the concept especially as a contacts wearer. I tape up all the vents in my goggles to restrict airflow.

Can't get behind a $200 pair of goggles though. To have 2 pairs on a race day you are $400 in, just cant justify it.

I'd think if not right sand could get blown up in there too.

Fellow round head here and I wear a 6D atr3. The best helmet fitment I've found was shoei vfxw in Large but an XL in 6d with thicker cheek pads seems to fit well.

I tested it a while back at cahuilla when the 6d guys were there. I will say the field of vision is definitely an improvement. The goggles not pressing against my face takes some getting used to. Been using armega goggles and the 6d ones were way better. Will be purchasing one very soon, glad this finally came out.

Man… I went to order these last night & they were sold out in every color.

Good for 6D that they are hitting the mark in interest. Shame they didn’t even make it a whole weekend in stock. Guess I’m waiting for an email that they’re available. Again 🤦🏻‍♂️
