Watching one of the Gypsy shorts with Jett, it was interesting to hear him talk about testing sessions starting at 8am until dark.
And how the mechanics are working just as hard.
And how Hunter is carrying that weight solo for the time being.
And Hunter has been talking about multiple days of testing recently, doing everything possible to make the bike better.
And it shows.
And you can bet your ass that Tomac is doing the same thing.
You have to wonder just how hard chase is working to do the same. Or just showing up putting in a bit of time and expecting the mechanics to magically make changes to satisfy him. Never truly treating them as equals.
The fact that the team's he's left, have continued to have success after he leaves, make me think that he's not out there from 8am until sunset working his ass off.

Pretty certain if Chase's mechanics over past few years were working on flight rather dirt bikes they would have landed on the moon by now with all the time, money, and manpower invested to please this fussy prick.
Hard work isn't his issue, you don't get in the physical shape he's in without grinding. He doesn't know how to set up a bike, plain and simple. Team to team, same problem.

In all forms of racing, that's one of the keys to kicking ass.

I've got to agree with what Bridges stated. From his dinner snub of Lindstrom, to not talking to anyone at KTM anymore, that doesn't seem like somebody treats other people who they have been in the trenches with for hours, days, and weeks on end striving for a common goal. Even in his interviews, when talking about bike problems, he seems to have the "I've got people for that" attitude and seems to know little about the actual mechanical workings of the bike. I forget what podcast it was; it wasn't recent he was still on Honda, but he was genuinely confused about what rake and trail were on his bike and how it affected handling, as if he never even heard of such numbers.
This is always the time of year where we start hyping, and looking forward to, outdoor season.
And this one could be a barn burner.

C’mon man, I get that you’re pushing a balanced view of Chase’s most recent absence but you are fooling yourself if you think most people don’t see it as the continuation of a series of weird absences with little to no explanation.
Personally I’m not on board with booing athletes but plenty of others see Chase’s behaviour as very odd if not downright bizarre.
