From 10th to 4 second ahead of Davies. 6 in a row.

That was pretty insane. I didn’t expect him to pass them so quick, but also just absolutely leave them.

That's huge for Davies

Davies gets 3 more points, so the gap will be 6 to Hammaker and 9 to Shimoda.

They’re so damned by their past inconsistencies that they have to be autistic about this one. There’s no winning. If they don’t penalize him that’s a problem. It’s a shame they can’t have some discretion about what the penalty is, though.

His post is what every journalist gets paid to do. Not everybody’s watching the race or reading this RIGHT NOW.

This sound slike they are afraid Deegan is going to clinch before the last 2 rounds and hurt attendance and make people look bad.

It doesn’t matter to Deegan and it helps Davies. 👍🏻

Everybody wins.
Deegan actually won the actual and psychological race - and his competition knows he rode right by them.
Davies gets points on his competition as if he won.
AMA wins by virtue signaling they can enforce the rules when it doesn’t matter. Wonder if it would be the same call if the last race and it mattered?

I mean, I guess. Deegs still lost out on the win bonus difference and now this technically snaps a win streak in the record books.

Kinda bogus

"Wonder if it would be the same call if the last race and it mattered?" You would think that they would have to now.

Best shit ever I was blocked by Hayden on instagram. Someone commented “everyone knows who won tonight”. And I commented on that to congratulate Cole Davies and I was blocked. Funny how sensitive the Deegans are. 450 is going to be really bad if he can’t win week in and week out. Talk about a melt down 6 races into outdoors with zero wins.

You have a point there. It was a violation of the rules and a minor one at that. Personally, I think actually taking the win away , was heavy handed and it would have been more appropriate to give him a points deduction. It wasn’t an egregious track cutting or even intentional. But it is what it is and everyone has been very critical of the AMA and how they’ve handled things like this in the past , namely the jumping incident with Jo. Danger will have to be happy with the fact that he kicked their keister’s but didn’t get full credit for it. Being a fan it was awesome seeing him come thru that traffic the way he did.

So how does my bilingual topic similar to this go to the dumbgeon when this topic has even less to offer. Not to say that mine meant anything, but didn’t break any rules of any sorts?

Because it was dumb. You made a thread title about Hunter but made your post about Deegan.

When Weege and James kept talking about the #1 creeping up but he wasn’t gaming any positions on the board, I was like nah, Cole’s going to run away with it. Welp

Hate him or love him, deegans fitness is on another level compared to that whole 250 east/west class. He went through the top 10 like it was an LCQ race. You could see all the front runners fatiguing, and deegan just looked loose and fast. Hitting his marks. Pretty impressive to watch

He is clearly the fastest 250 rider.  Fantastic ride. The first half of the race the gap was staying around 6 seconds.  I didn't see a win as a possibility.   He really turned it up in the second half of the race though.

Not a huge fan but that penalty is unnecessary….should be able to move about within the track at your will, remove the clown markers….
